As my breathing steadied I began to slowly better with Ellie still supporting me. " Im guessing you took in more water then me and Joel." I looked over to see a worried Ellie looking down at my trembling legs that were about to collapse even with her help. "Probably... but I'm fine don't worry. We need to catch up to Joel before he leaves us." I joked with Ellie but she didn't find it funny. Suddenly my legs actually gave out and the next thing I know is that I'm falling to the ground. I close my eyes and wait to feel the cold sand on my face as I was about to slam face first on the ground but it never happened. I open my eyes to see Ellies arms wrapped around me holding me up so I wouldn't fall. "Now what did I just tell you! You dumb ass ! You scared the shit out of me!" Ellie lifted me up further and turned around so her back was facing me. "Hop on. I'm not having you fall and pass out on me. It turns out I'm gonna be the one carrying you." She looked over her shoulder and smiled. I hopped on her back and rested my head on her shoulder as we caught up with Joel. "There you guys are, I was beginning to think you weren't coming." Ellie and I were in a little bit of a shock when he gave the tiniest smile. "So I guess he doesn't fully hate us after all." Ellie whispered in my ear and I just gave a tiny chuckle. "Well I wouldn't be too sure, we do give him hell for two teenagers." Ellie just laughed in response and looked at me while we walked over to were Henry and Sam stood waiting for us. Henry and Joel opened a heavy gate that lead to the sewers. We all crawled in and to my surprise me and Ellie were still holding hands. I could feel sams cold stare of jealousy but I just ignored it. I tried to gently pull my hand away but Ellie squeezed it in return. She held my hand with a passion that I could feel between us. She leaned against me as we walked too which made me blush. "Clingy much?" I snickered as we all walked in the sewer. "Only for you." Ellie gripped a little harder when she said that. My face was completely flushed at this point and I could only manage to look down a quick second to also see her blush.
