Hello everyone! I know it has been a very long time since I last updated (since March, holy crow), and for that I apologize. I've been working hard to write new chapters for a lot of the stories on my profile recently, and I just now got around to It Can't Be Over.

Aleks POV:

I clutched the sheets beneath me, my fingers aching from the strong grip I had on them. My teeth clenched as I felt it, felt the pleasure wash up and over me. I felt it shoot from me in a mixture of ecstasy and bliss, shooting up and onto him-onto his clean-shaven chest. I gasped out as it happened, my abdomen coiling in the exerting pressure. He rode out my pleasure as I cried out his name, glorifying him.

He grunted, his breathing deep and gasping, quick too as he felt his own orgasm arising.

"Ah...Aleks...fuck!" He gasped out through the pleasure, thrusting forward harshly one final time against my prostate as he released deep, deep within me.

He collapsed atop of me, sweaty and sticky. I couldn't bring myself to be disgusted, not as I was still dismounting from my high. Instead, we breathed harshly against one another. I could feel his heartbeat hammering against my chest as he lied atop of me, his heartbeat reminding me how alive I felt in that moment. I brought my hands to his back to clutch at him, to feel reminded that this was all real, and felt the vague numbness to my fingers as they had gripped harshly and roughly onto the sheets just moments before. I couldn't quite bring myself to believe all that had just happened, but I quickly realized I didn't want to. It had happened...and that was all that mattered.

James POV:

"I'm glad you could join us today, Mr. Wilson."

I felt Seamus clutch my hand tightly from beside me. I glanced his way, smiling, and pulled his hand to my lips, kissing it tenderly. I turned back to Dr. Watson and mustered up a genuine smile.

"I'm glad I could be as well. So, Doc, what's the news Seamus was so eager for me to hear?" I replied, staring coolly into Dr. Watson's eyes.

She smiled and glanced down at her notebook, repositioning herself to become more comfortable.

"I'm very excited to announce that Seamus no longer needs my therapeutic expertise."

I turned animatedly to Seamus and beamed at him. "Really?" I asked, turning back to her with a grin. I felt Seamus's hand tighten in my own, giving it a squeeze.

Dr. Watson gave a swift nod, smiling. "Yes. I've been very surprised in his recovering recently. Each appointment has been more positive than the last, which is a great sign. Now, it was a difficult decision considering his past, but I decided, despite it, he has been on a long journey to recover and he has done very well on it. I don't know if anything has been done differently at home, but whatever has been happening has made a remarkable impact. I applaud not only Seamus for his hard work and dedication to his recuperation, but to you as well, Mr. Wilson."

I instantly leaned into Seamus, giving him a chaste kiss on the cheek. I pulled away to see his eyes dancing and a smile that made me reminisce on the times I had actually seen him smile. He looked so proud, so happy, and I couldn't help but to give a small laugh at the amount of exultant bliss on his face.

"Last time I saw Seamus, I told him that I planned on releasing him from my observance, and he told me that he couldn't wait to see your face. I told him to go out to the waiting room and bring you in so I could tell you both the good news, but he told me you were at home. It may not be my business, but for how dedicated you were at the beginning of this endeavor, I was very surprised that you had not waited for him like you did previously. He told me this wasn't the first time. Why is that?"
