This chapter is a flashback. I am currently driving so I'm typing this up on the WattPad app in my phone, which doesn't have the ability to type in italics. So just keep that in mind when reading.
EDIT: Yeah, got home and decided to change everything. Enjoy the boldness and italicized version. ^.^

Aleks POV:
The morning light cast spectacularly upon my face as I woke to comfort. My mind was fuzzy upon waking, but I soon caught on to where I was.
I tried to move, but two bulky, muscular arms ensnared my torso, capturing me and tucking me away from anyone else's grasp.
I huffed and struggled against them until I felt the arms slacken and loosen, allowing me exit. As I squirmed out of the grasp I felt my body begin to fall, and it wasn't until I was on my side on the floor that I realized I had been at the very edge of the bed.
"Fucker," I murmured and rose shakily to waking limbs.
I glanced around and suddenly remembered where I was. This was Eddie's room. I was in Eddie's apartment, and...oh!
It all made sense now. Eddie's arms around me, me sleeping in his bed with him...we were a thing now!
Well, that was, we were testing the waters. Both of us weren't positive where this would go, but we had a want to find out.
Just a few days ago, Eddie had kissed me. It had been an accident, as Eddie had pleaded to me, but then he did it again.
From a deep, lonely cavern in the pits of my stomach, I had wanted to see what it was that intrigued me so much of the way Eddie's lips felt against my own. Afterward, I admitted I was interested, and so began whatever this thing was going on between us.
I blushed lightly after this remembrance. So somewhere, in between our time sleeping in the same bed last night, Eddie had cocooned me to his chest in a struggle to hold me.
Huh. Okay then.
He really was cute, no matter how you looked at it.
I smiled lightly at his sleeping figure in the bed, one of his arms hanging lazily off of the bed from when I had gotten out of his hold.
As I was pulling on a sweatshirt, I realized the sun was shining. I glanced, puzzled, out of the window in Eddie's bedroom and saw, indeed, the sun was shining. There was no way! Just yesterday I could have sworn the effects of Hurricane Sandy were washing up on his apartment building.
But no. It was just bright out for once during my stay here.
Inwardly, I thought that today might actually be a good day.
I was down the stairs and eating breakfast when Eddie finally came down the stairs, rubbing his sleepy-dust-filled eyes.
"'Morning," he said and trudged to the fridge where he pulled out the carton of OJ and drank straight from it.
"Good morning," I replied back and went back to glancing at my phone.
He leaned back against the counter and watched me with lust-filled eyes. I glanced back at him from under my eyelashes and waited for him to say something.
He didn't, however, and continued to stare.
I sighed and ticked my phone away in my pajama bottoms, taking my bowl of Raisin Bran cereal to the garbage disposal.
I was washing it all down the drain when I felt two bulky arms--believe it or not, the same ones from this morning--wrap around my chest.
"Mph," I let out exasperatedly.
"'Morning," he whispered into my ear.
"You already said that."
"So?" he replied.
"Bu--oh, never mind."
I struggled to move in his grasp, facing the same dilemma that I had this morning. It was no use, however, because I felt his arms tense when I moved.
"Eddie, really?" I asked.
"Yes really. Now stop and accept it," he replied with and began to nibble on my earlobe.
I let out a small gasp, surprised that it actually felt good. I couldn't let him do this, though. In no way did I sign up for this.
"Eddie--" I tried again, feeling his hand start to massage my chest.
Through the feeling, I felt Eddie's arms again begin to loosen, so I saw my opportunity and took it.
Without a flaw, I grabbed his hand on my chest, twisted it, and broke out of his hold.
I stumbled backwards from the force and nearly lost my balance, but then Eddie quickly caught me.
"Goodness. Is it that bad?" he teased.
I frowned as he brought me back to stability.
"No. I just didn't appreciate what you were doing," I replied, looking anywhere but his eyes.
He smirked at me and I tried not to smile back at him.
He put both of his hands on either side of my face, and stared into my eyes.
I was about to ask him what he was looking for when he suddenly forced his lips against my own.
I froze, surprised, but soon felt what drove me so crazy about him. Quickly, I kissed him back and closed my eyes, bringing my hands to wrap around his neck. I hungrily persisted with the kiss, moaning ever so lightly at the want building inside me.
I smiled as Eddie moved his hands to press against my chest and pulled away from the kiss.
I could tell instantly that he hoped to go a little further than the kiss, so I watched as his playful eyes turned to that of curiosity.
"Why'd you pull away for?" he asked, slightly wounded.
"I know what you were playing at there, Mr. Slyfox," I tested.
"No I wasn't!" he complained, his eyes showing blatant incredulousness from my accusation.
I smiled and pulled away further from him until his arms slackened and dropped from my forearms.
"Doesn't matter," I lightly said.
Truth was was that he flustered me deeply. Every time I got near him recently my heart was sent fluttering and rapidly thumping against my rib cage, threatening to burst free of its cage.
It was a good kind of rapid heart-beating, however. It sent thrills through me. I wasn't so sure yet--after all, this was a testing of the waters--but I was beginning to think I might feel something more for him. Could it be--that I felt something for a guy? No, rephrase that--for Eddie? My long time best friend?
It was difficult to comprehend, and I really didn't want to, but something from inside of me told me that it was a possibility.
It ate away at me the rest of the afternoon.
