Loki's POV:
Rogers brings me to a room where Stark and a girl are talking. I keep my poker face and sit down. This is really boring. When will these Avengers finally trust me? I haven't tried to kill anyone for over a month but they still have someone with me at all times.
Tony- Please, (Y/N), we just need to you keep an eye on him.
(Y/N)- First, can you not act like he's not here? Second, he doesn't need someone to babysit him. If he wanted to kill someone, he would have already done so but he hasn't. So, leave me alone, Stark.
I smirk before putting my poker face again. This girl is pretty interesting but she's still a Midgardian, a human as they say here.
Tony- Please, just stay with him. You're the only one who could stop him alone if he tried to attack someone again except for the Hulk.
(Y/N)- Ugh, fine. But you owe me, Stark.
Tony walks away with Steve and the Midgardian turns to me. The man of iron is stupid to think she could stop me. A mere human could never be stronger than me.
(Y/N)- Tony can be so annoying. Anyway, I'm (Y/N) (L/N). It's nice to meet you, Loki.
She bows and smiles before sitting beside me on the couch. I flinch, not wanting to come in contact with her. I need to keep my distance with Midgardians. They can never be nice to a monster like me. They cannot be trusted.
(Y/N)- Since we are going to be stuck together for a while, you'll need to learn my ways. We'll train every morning, eat and go to the library after. The schedule may change from time to time but that is how it is most days.
Loki- I don't care.
She ignores the way that I talked to her and looks at her phone before getting up.
(Y/N)- It's time for dinner, let's go.
She smiles and walks away. I follow her since I don't want Stark annoying me. It's not like I'll do anything but he doesn't seem to understand that. It's a wonder that Midgardians are still alive.
(Y/N)- It is.
Did I think out loud? I don't think so but it looks like she talked to me. Unless she just talked to herself, then she's crazy.
We go into the kitchen and she starts to get things in the fridge.
(Y/N)- You're going to help me make dinner, alright?
Loki- Why would I do that?
I cross my arms and look at her with defiance, waiting for an answer. She just turns to me and raises an eyebrow.
(Y/N)- Look, you may have done everything you wanted to do before but here you need to do your part. Now help me cook, okay?
Your POV:
I somehow convinced Loki to help me and we finished way faster because of that. As we are all eating and talking at the table, I think about what to do with all this.
So, Loki really doesn't trust easily, and for good reasons. I'll be myself since he would probably see through my act if I tried to be different. He is the god of lies and mischief after all. I've seen how he fights even though I couldn't help the Avengers last time. That's why I suggested training every morning. I know he loves to read and so do I so we could go to the library.
Steve- (Y/N)!
(Y/N)- Sorry, what were you saying?
Steve- I asked how the hunt went.
He smiles at me, knowing that I didn't purposely ignore him. I smile back but hesitate to talk about it with everyone in the room. I decide to tell but not go into details.
(Y/N)- It got a bit complicated since there were more than I thought but it was okay, thank you.
Tony- How many exactly?
They all stop talking to hear my answer since none of them really know my strength.
(Y/N)- About fifteen of them. But they were not very strong.
Nat- Still, fifteen is a lot, good job.
She smiles at me before turning back to Clint. Nat is one of the few that know a bit about my... Abilities. Actually, it seems like she knows everything that goes on here. But I don't mind since we are good friends. Steve and Fury are the other ones that know about me. Fury knows pretty much everything and I opened up to Steve after we had really bad nightmares one night.
I'm good friends with everyone but I mostly hang around Steve, Nat and Clint. I don't really like Tony but he can be funny sometimes. I actually find Bruce amusing and love to annoy him. I'm not worried about Hulk because he never attacks me, no matter what. Of course, I get along pretty well with Wanda since we understand each other. She can't read my mind and that's one of the reasons she's with me a lot.
Okay, stop with all the complicated friendships. Fury is the one who presented me to the Avengers, a short time after the group was made. I am the one who asked to meet them though. I have my reasons for that. Anyway, they didn't trust me at first, especially since Tony found nothing on me, but after some time, we got along well and became friends. Anyway, back to the present.
After cleaning everything, we all go to our things, Loki and I walking towards the library. Of course, there is a library in Tony's tower, what did you think? There, I tell Loki how everything works and we read for a long time, a really long time.
(Y/N)- Oh, it's late! Come on, Loki, we can come back tomorrow.
He puts his book down and follows me, annoyed that I interrupted his reading. When we arrive at his room, I stop and turn to him.
(Y/N)- This is your room. Mine is right across so if you need anything, don't hesitate to knock. I'll come and get you at 7 am tomorrow for training.
He just looks at me and goes in his room. I sigh, this is going to be harder than I thought.
