Your POV:

Where is it? Come on, almost no one reads in the tower, there is no way they took it! Oh, there it is!

I grab the beautiful red notebook and sigh in relief.

(Y/N)- God, I thought I lost it or something.

I sit down in the corner that I call the writing/reading area, my second home. I silently laugh to myself and gently open the old notebook. I look at all the monsters and finally find the one I want to read.

(Y/N)- Skinwalkers...

"A skinwalker is basically someone that can transform into a dog. A skinwalker also eats hearts but, unlike werewolves, they have control over their transformation and instincts. But they are still monsters and you must be the same with them as with any monster. No matter how cute they are, they kill humans. To kill them, you have to stab or shoot them in the heart with something made of silver. Silver bullets, knives of silver, you'll need to if you want to kill a Skiwalker. You must NOT get bitten by a skinwalker or you will become one. There isn't a cure."

Loki- What is this book?

I look up to see Loki standing in front of me, a single book in his hand. I get up and look at it.

(Y/N)- Lord Of The Rings, huh? It's a great book, you should read it. I loved those books. Of course, I like the movies more because of Legolas- and I am rambling again. Sorry.

Loki- It's alright.

I sit back down and Loki takes a place next to me.

Sometime later, we start to discuss the book he is reading. We both thought that it wasn't really fair for Legolas to have no important part in the book and I suggested that we could watch the movie. While we were talking, I realised how he was showing his true self, he had his guard down. I smiled before saying something about Aragorn.

Loki is pretty interesting and I don't think that he is a bad person inside. As we leave the library, I stop in my track and look at him.

(Y/N)- I have seen your true self and I think that you should let your guard down more. I know that you do not trust me yet but I hope that, in the future, we become great friends.

I gently smile at him as I say this. He looks surprised but quickly goes back to his poker face.

Loki- I think that you are an interesting person so I accept to be your friend.

(Y/N)- Awesome!

We shake hands and go to the dining room. Everybody is already here so we sit down in front of each other. As we are eating, I think back to everything that happened today and smile.

Steve- Is everything alright, (Y/N)?

(Y/N)- Of course! I had a pretty good day.

Everyone stares at me when I say that. Confused, I look at Loki but he just stares at his food.

Tony- A good day? With reindeer games? Are you sure that you're okay?

(Y/N)- You're the one who asked me to watch him. I am watching him. It's not that bad and I could finally read again.

Tony- Are you talking about that weird notebook that you keep reading even if you probably already know what's written in it?

I throw him a death stare and get up.

(Y/N)- It's not weird and I don't "keep reading it".

Tony- Whatever you say, (Y/N).

I bring my plate to the kitchen and step into the elevator. As the doors are about to close, Loki steps in too.

(Y/N)- Tony can be funny but sometimes I just want to punch him in the face.

Loki- I understand your point. This Midgardian particularly gets on my nerves, especially when he calls me reindeer games.

(Y/N)- Yeah, him and his nicknames.

I roll my eyes, still pissed but a bit better now that I talked about it with someone. The elevator stops and we get out before walking to our respective room.

(Y/N)- Goodnight, Loki.

I see him hesitate before nodding and going into his room. I shake my head while smiling, looks like he's back to his normal self.

Loki's POV:

I was about to say goodnight but decided otherwise. I seem to forget that she is just a normal human while I am a god. But it's easy to forget when she's so nice and intelligent. WHAT AM I THINKING!? I must not trust anyone! She will betray me like everyone else.

Your POV:

I enter my room and close the door. I get ready and happily lie down in my bed. I see the notebook I was writing in earlier, still open on my desk, but fall asleep before I can even think of putting it back.
