"What the hell is going on?"
I looked around and felt an Ahanko that seemed familiar approaching quickly. I turned to the east, or at least what I thought was east, and saw something flying towards me just like in my dream in the Firidian prison. Unlike my dream though, the creature landed before me in a crouch and was wingless.
"You are pathetic," the creature said, which sounded a little like my own voice, but it had a slightly higher pitch, as it stood. I stepped back in shock as the creature looked exactly like me with the only differences between us being the creature's blood red slitted eyes and a face was partially covered in bluish scales. "Am I going to have to help you defeat Wanecuh?"
"Who are you?"
"You can call me Havick," the creature flashing its fangs. "I am your better half." The creature let out a maniacal laugh before continuing. "If I were stronger I would take control of our body right now. But I guess I will have to lend you some of my Ahanko so please don't die."
There was a blood red glow coming from around Havick as I felt an increase in Ahanko. The light moved down to Havick's hands then shot out engulfing me. When the light faded, I found myself back in the world with blood flowing down my neck as Wanecuh's fangs were still sunk into my throat. I felt the power from Havick flowing through me, and it had strange vileness to it like oil mixed with water.
The demon pulled back, my blood dripping from its chin he still had a hand wrapped around my neck. A sickness ran through my body as the demon's Ahanko flowed through me. If Wanecuh did not have his hand around my throat, I believed that I would have thrown up from the vile Ahanko. By the look on Wanecuh's face, I knew the demon had sensed the Ahanko. I grabbed Wanecuh's wrist and slowly started to squeeze until the demon cried out mostly in shock. The grip on my neck loosened and I took the opportunity to kick Wanecuh in the chest, sending the demon back dozens of feet. I leaped away placing a hand on my neck and felt only a few scars from where I was bitten.
"Now I am really intrigued in you mortal." Wanecuh smiled and held his scimitars up before him. "That Ahanko flowing through this very moment is not that of a mortal. It explains why your blood tastes a lot like a Naermih."
"What are you talking about?" I asked Diark flew into my hand. "You said that my blood tasted like a mix of mortal, Canvc, and Naermih. I have heard of Canvc before but not Naermih what is that?"
"Naermih are the lowest class in Ihtanfunmt. Canvcs are the lowest class in Rayjah. And in case you are wondering I am not a Naermih. I am a Kujan, a class above the Naermih. You are a very unique individual. I have never known of anyone having blood with the mix like you, and by the way, your eyes look you are more than just human."
"What do you mean?"
"Check for yourself."
I brought Diark up fearing what I would see. My eyes widened in shock causing me to drop Diark while shaking my head. "That is impossible," I said as I did not want to believe what I was seeing. My eyes were the same as Havick, red and slit. "This is some kind of trick of yours isn't it?"
"The moment the Naermih Ahanko appeared inside of you your eyes changed," Wanecuh said shaking his head. "It had nothing to do with me."
"You lie!" I yelled as I picked Diark up before rushing forward, striking fast. Wanecuh went on the defensive blocking each strike, but with each one, my blows got stronger. Diark broke through one of the scimitars then bit into the Kujan's chest.
Blood sprayed into the air as Wanecuh was brought to the ground. I grabbed a couple arrows from the quiver and drove them down into Wanecuh's wrists, pinning the demon to the ground then I raised Diark to slice through Wanecuh's neck when the demon laughed.
