A red light started to seep through the cracks just before the ground exploded, sending forth debris in all directions. A cloud of smoke shot up engulfing the entire room. I channeled and sent out a large gust of wind blowing away all the smoke which revealed a girl that reminded me of a cunning fox with her cream-colored skin and high cheekbones. Her almond-shaped violet eyes were like two amethysts moved over the two of us with a look of disgust. Her long luxurious, straight, gray hair was worn in an attractive style and blew into her face as the wind continued to swirl around. She had a voluptuous build which caught Sky's eyes as I heard the Togusian let out a whistle which she did not seem to like. Her wardrobe was unconventional and elegant, with a lot of red and black.

"Where is the Arot Orb?" she asked with an accent very similar to Samuto. She looked straight at the Aura Orb in its pouch. "Why do you have the Aura Orb? Samuto is supposed to be guarding it with his life."

"Well to answer your first question," I said which brought her gaze to me, "the Arot Orb was taken by Qureak, but I don't know where he disappeared to. To answer your second question, I obtained the Aura Orb after defeating Samuto."

"You, a mortal, defeated Samuto," the woman said throwing her head back laughing. "There is no way a Canvc could ever be beaten by a mortal."

"Believe what you want, but that is what happened. I will tell you what I told Samuto. My name is Trez Falcra, and I am the reincarnation of Zavv. Twice now I have been shown a vision of the location of an Orb. I believe that this is Zavv's way of trying to help me. Samuto didn't believe me and attacked. Even using the power of the Aura Orb, he was unable to stop me. What do you think that you are going to be able to do?"

"I am going to make you pay for killing one of my dear friends," the woman said creating two short swords out of flames. The flames solidified, and the two fire swords became true swords. "I, Niha, who was giving the duty to protect the Arot Orb by Lord Zavv over ten thousand years ago, have already failed that duty. But I can atone for my failure by killing you. I will avenge Samuto and recover the Aura Orb."

"I do not want to hurt you," I said as I brought Fehtpmyta before me, "but I will do what I must."

Niha let out a growl and rushed forward sending out a giant fireball. The two of us dove out of the way, and as I hit the floor I rolled forward then spun around, bringing Fehtpmyta up anticipating a strike, but Niha went after Sky instead. The Togusian spiraled through the air into a wall, his back engulfed in flames. I quickly rushed forward and stabbed forward blocking a strike from Niha that would have cut Sky in two.

The guardian's violet eyes snapped to me, and she spun around kicking at my head. I leaned back and brought Fehtpmyta up as she brought both of her swords around towards my stomach. She moved with speed just like Samuto, and it took all I had to keep her attacks at bay.

Once she was able to get past my defenses, and I just managed to sidestep out of the way. It caused her sword to just cut a gash across my left cheek. I spun around swinging at her midsection, but she flipped over the blade and drove a knee into my face. I stumbled backward and Niha launched forth a fireball which slammed into my chest. The force of the blast sent me flying into a wall where I bounced off the wall. Niha appeared delivering a series of punches to my torso and with each hit it seemed that my whole body was engulfed in flames.

I fought back a cry as Niha drove her foot into my stomach, doubling me over. She brought her foot up connecting with my chin and sending me into the ceiling. I started to fall back down when I saw Niha pointing a sword at me, a fireball slowly forming on the tip. I brought Fehtpmyta up just as a line of fire shot forward. I did not get the aquamarine blade up in time though, and the line shot over the blade piercing through my chest.
