The next morning, I woke to a knocking at the door. I grabbed Fehtpmyta and slowly approached, not sure as to who was here. I had spent the rest of the day after Kane and the Songrians left at the inn where people attacked me because I was Songrian. A large group even surrounded the inn waiting for me to make an appearance.

Some of the people in the crowd tossed in pieces of rubble through windows which caused the innkeeper to step outside and give them all a tongue lashing. I opened the door just a crack and peered through to see a woman wearing the robes of a Tateladad standing in the hall, her hands behind her back. Her emerald eyes showed that she wasn't fond of whatever it was she was doing here. It was almost as if she thought it was beneath her to do what she was doing.

"Trez Falcra I have a letter for you from the Earthyauh."

I took the letter from her and nodded before shutting the door. I locked it and made my way across the room. I propped Fehtpmyta in a corner then took a seat in one of the chairs. I broke the wax seal and it was from the Earthyauh saying he wanted to meet with me about something important. He said that it had to be told in person where there were no unwanted ears.

"Who was that?"

I turned to Eryn and gave her a slight smile as I saw her clutching the blankets to hide her naked body. "It was someone from the Temple with a letter from the Earthyauh. He wants to meet with me today."

"About?"

"The letter just said that he had something important to tell me. I guess I will head there in a few hours and see what he has to say. It will probably be to just tell me to leave before anything happens. He told me that yesterday too."

"Well just be careful that's all," Eryn said giving me a grin. "Now how about getting back in bed? If you are going to leave in a few hours I think I know how we can spend that time."

I grinned then made my way to her. A few hours later I left the inn with only Zammorak. Eryn wanted me to bring everything but I knew that it would just make things worse with the people in the streets. I spent nearly an hour convincing her that I would be fine. There was a large group outside of the inn and the moment they saw me I thought that they were going to attack. One man stepped forward with a spear and but kept the weapon at the ready.

"Lord Falcra," the man said with an accent that was similar to the people of Firid. "I am Aeon Rainford. I am to escort you to the Earthyauh."

The declaration caused the people to let out their frustration. Some asked the Aeon what he was doing. The Aeon leapt to the top of the inn and I followed. I kept up with the Aeon as we made our way across the rooftops towards the Tower. It took a few hours but I found myself standing on the first floor. A door opened up and I saw a Tateladad standing inside of a round room in the direct center of the tower which reminded me of the amajdun back in Broken Boulder.

"Just take the amajdun to the top floor," Rainford said before moving on. "That floor is the office and apartments of the Earthyauh."

"Thank you."

I stepped inside the room and the Tateladad looked at me as if he wanted to strike but he showed a lot of restraint. The Tateladad channeled his Ahanko and the floor rose up. It didn't move quite as gracefully or as fast as when Kevdak used it back in Broken Boulder but in a little less than thirty minutes the floor came to a halt at a set of double doors.

I nodded to the Tateladad then left the room. Once the doors closed I felt the Tateladad channel and heard the amajdun heading back down. I let out a sigh then moved on through the halls staring at the pictures of all the former Earthyauh since the creation of the Temple in Repron. I finally found the Earthyauh standing out on a balcony overlooking the city. I started to approach when he spoke.
