Many of the people screamed that it was the Songrians and I quickly climbed one of the walls surrounding the Tower. I shook my head in disbelief. Fireballs rained down from Songrian Wyverns as more flew over the city in different patterns. A trio nosedived down, letting loose a stream of fire which set a section of the city ablaze. I shook my head in disbelief as I could not believe that my people were capable of what I was seeing. I felt channeling just before lightning shot out from the back of a Wyvern Rider.

I clenched my fists and felt someone channeling again just before a massive lightning bolt shot down into the fleeing crowd. Screams shot up, and I knew that the bolt hit a large group. I dropped down from the wall then rushed through the streets. I made it no more than ten blocks before I came across a series of Songrian soldiers wearing armor very similar to the Knights of Edith.

Their armor had purple trim, and their helmets were in the shape of various dragons. A trio of Songrian soldiers struck down a helpless family as the parents clutched their children in their arms.

"Do you stupid bastards take joy in killing harmless people?"

In unison, the Songrians' helmets snapped in my direction. One of the Songrians looked to be startled at my appearance but recovered and rushed forward. I placed a hand on Diark's hilt but decided to draw forth my father's greatsword. I rushed at the charging Songrian and brought the greatsword down with a two-handed strike. The Songrian brought his shield up to block but the aquamarine blade sliced through it and the Songrian. A cry shot up as the other two soldiers slid to a halt, watching their comrade get cut in two.

"What the hell?"

"How the hell did he do that?"

I kicked the dead soldier aside then turned to the soldiers waving them to attack. The two of them hesitated for just a second before attacking. I took each one down with a single strike. After the final Songrian fell, I scaled the nearest building, and once I was on the top, I scanned the city for the place in the most need. I found an area being attacked by half a dozen of the Wyvern Riders and hurried across the rooftops. I drew close to the area and channeled the Ahanko from the Orb into the greatsword. I swung the blade and unleashed the same attack as I did against Olin only this time it was not one large dragon that flew forward. It was one for each Wyvern Rider.

The dragons slammed into the Wyvern Riders and exploded buffeting the city with strong gusts of wind. The six Songrians and their mounts plummeted to the ground, a bloody mess. I heard cheers on the streets below as the bodies hit the cobblestone streets. I looked down to see Repron soldiers, Tateladads and the ordinary people raising their arms up in the air thanking me.

I nodded then looked back to see the rest of the Wyvern Riders coming. I twirled the greatsword then unleashed another series of wind dragons and watched as they ripped apart the Wyvern Riders. Some tried to evade but no matter what they did the dragons found them. A bolt of lightning shot down slamming into the roof just a few feet in front of me. The blast threw me on to my back and I used the momentum to roll backwards, springing to my feet. The moment I recovered a person dropped down from the sky, slamming into the roof.

The man looked like a generous man with his narrow eyes the color of yellowed ivory. He had his short black hair spiked up. He was tall with an athletic build and cream-colored skin. He was not wearing armor like the other Songrians. His wardrobe was unconventional and strange, with a gray and red color scheme. It reminded me of the outfit worn by members of the Aeon Order. On his back were two scimitars which formed an X.

The man stared at the greatsword in shock, like he was seeing something for the first time in years. I thought that he was about to ask something but instead he drew both scimitars from his back. The blades were as black as night and each one had a Dragon Mark etched into the blade near the rounded hilt guard.
