Click had never felt more infuriated in her life. She slammed the door after she entered her room. She grabbed the duvet of the bed and slammed it on the ground; she flew two pillows into a vase, which smashed. The room was turned into a den.
She went out onto the balcony and sat in the sun, no expression on her face.
"Click," Jason slowly opened the door to the room. He was shocked with the mess that had been created. He spotted Click on the balcony; he went out to comfort her. "You right there, babe?" He rubbed his hands up and down her back. She innocently nodded.
"I'm just annoyed, you know?"
"Don't worry, I'm annoyed, too."
Click gave a small laugh, "it’s crazy, isn't it? I mean being stuck at a resort thing, only us."
"Hey, they probably get funding or something." Jason kicked his legs up onto the table and put his hands behind his head, "but, I like it. Free food, private beach, king size beds, what more can you ask for?"
"A dad that doesn't kick you right in the nuts."
Jason pulled a grin, "He's not always like that."
"I know, he's pretty great. I should go and apologize to him. Oh, I feel terrible for being such a jackass. Chat later, k?"
"Yep, check you later," Jason flicked a wave as Click left. He tossed his head back and ran his hands through his head. 'You can't like her, she's one of you. If something goes wrong, you lose a great person in your life. But if you don't do it you'll miss out on something really great.'
As Click shut the door behind her, she rubbed her back down it and sat on the floor, head in hands. 'You can't. If you build a too strong of connection and your pack doesn't let him come. Or if they make him come whilst everything is on the downfall. But if you don't you'll miss out on the one thing you want.'
After completing her thoughts Click stood herself up, dusted herself off and headed to the pub.
'Be calm. Be polite.'
"Chris," Click hugged the six foot three, giant that stood in front of her, "I'm so sorry that I was a plain bitch. I didn't mean it," Click started to weep.
"Hey, it's okay. I was a complete dick." Jason peeped through the door of the pub and watched his dad and Click work things out.
"So, how about dinner tonight, it's a very special occasion?" Clicks accepted the offer, “And check the bottom draw of your dresser."
Click walked back to her room, hoping it was neat and tidy again. It was spotless.
She opened the bottom draw and pulled out the gift-wrapped box. She lifted its lid and the most beautiful black dress was inside. It was sleeveless, black and purely stunning. She laid it out on her freshly made bed and pulled out matching heels, and a diamond necklace that had complementing earrings and bracelet.
She jumped into the shower. Blow-dried her hair, and chucked on some delicate make-up. She put on her new clothes and looked at herself in the mirror. She had to admit, she looked stunning.
She arrived at the pub; Jason and Chris were already there.
'She looks beautiful,' Jason thought to himself.
She gracefully sat down. "So, what's the occasion?" She cocked a grin.
"Tonight I make a toast," Chris lifted his glass, and the other followed in his footsteps, "To celebrate Click, and her turning of thirteen."
"Oh my gosh, I totally forgot. The 15th of June." They all clinked their glasses together.
The night passed by in barely and blink. The three laughed the whole time.
"So, how old are you Jase?" Click curiously asked.
"Nearly fourteen. Two months." As the moon hit its peak, they started to part ways.
"I'm gonna start to turn in. Happy birthday, Click," Chris gave her a kiss on the top of her head. "Night kids. Oh, by yhe way, the resort is back open tomorrow," Chris then left and Jason was alone with Click.
"I bought you a little somthin'. Open it." Jason held out a box for Click. Click opened it up. It was a rusted key on a gold chain. "It's the key to the chains you wore the first night I met you."
"Oh my god, Jase. You didn't have to." Click hugged him, and the two slowly moved back to their room.
As she lay in bed Click thought to herself, 'He's bought you this amazing gift, and all you can say is thankyou. Tell him you like him.'
'C'mon Jase. You need to tell her how you feel'.
