As the ship cleared Bakugou got up and laughed loudly at the pathetic pirates retreating from battle. "You better fucking run you shit stains!" He called.

Kirishima let his skin relax and quickly turned his head to Jirou and Froppy who were trying to mend their fearless leader. Bakugou stopped his celebration and walked over to the man himself.

"That was a really dumb ass move sparky." He glared.

"Yeah, but did I look cool?" Denki put on a painful smile.

Bakugou knelt down ripping open the Captains clothes before using them as a gauze placing pressure on the wound.

"Not even a little bit."

The golden haired boy gave them a thumbs up before passing out. Froppy opened a sewing kit and Jirou began to stitch the man back together while they had the chance. When they were done Kirishima's animal instincts kicked in as he lapped up the blood cleaning the boys chest before the girls poured alcohol over it to keep from infection. Jirou then stood up and asked Bakugou to give her a hand in taking him inside. When Froppy and Kirishima were left alone the frog like girl walked up to his side.

"I heard what they said." She whispered.

The stone creatures face grew worried, he didn't wan't to put anyone in danger. Though he knew him and Bakugou could protect eachother he was unsure of the bistanders taking the grunt of the runaway dragon.

"They were after you." She said. "But. You handled it and protected us so I wont tell." She smiled.

Kirishima let out a long breath of relief before letting Tsu pet his muzzle as she spoke. "You're a true hero dragon."

His eyes shimmered and he sat up straight puffing out his chest proudly, he always wanted to be a hero.

After a long and thankfully undisturbed ride they finally made it to Midnight's island. However Kaminari told them they could not get in close to the island for the shore was enchanted and the two would have to fly to the beach. Of course this was no hard task. Bakugou climbed atop of Kirishima thanking them for their help and that they would most likely see each other again whether they liked it or not. Then they were off the ship flying to the black sandy beach of Midnight's island. Once the landed Kirishima felt the strange sand between his claws. He raised a scaley brow feeling Bakugou get ready to crawl down him. He quickly moved his muzzle to keep the rogue on his back.

"Hey what the crap are you doing? Move!" He pushed his stone face.

The crimson dragon moved his head and began to dig into the black sand. Underneath it lay decaying bones of both humans and animals that had fallen victim. He hardened his legs to keep his skin safe while Bakugou got comfortable.

"What the hell is wrong with this place?!" He snarled.

They looked into the winding forest thinking about what other enchanted traps lay beyond. Bakugou's eyes scaled up to the top of the branches.

"Let's just fly over this thing until we find her hide out." He said.

Kirishima looked at him wide eyed growling, he did not know what kind of people or creatures were in there. Flying out in the open would make them an easy target since they would never be able to see into the dense woods.

"Fine then what's your plan smart ass?!"

His large crimson eyes followed the sand back to the water where the blue current was being contaminated with purple. He followed the violet stream to a distant opening that must have led to some sort of river. He pointed it out and the rogue hit his forehead.

"Yeah sure, let's go straight for the poisonous river of death."

Kirishima smiled rolling his eyes at the melodramatic man above him. He began to pad down the beach towards the opening to see a long stretch of trees that hung over a river like a tunnel. In the trees purple lights flickered and danced illuminating the dark water below it. The two bravely, or stupidly, began to walk through the waters. At first Kirishima was worried about the colour but it felt no different from any other water he had stood in. Even so he kept his legs hardened as he continued to walk up the river. Bakugou watched the forest carefully just waiting for something to jump out. The trees moved in the ocean breeze tapping the dragons skin gently as they kept on. He swished his tail in the water then stopped as it became heavy.

"What now?" Bakugou asked.

The dragon looked down and under his legs to the tip of his tail to see something caught on the spikes. He looked back up then turned his head over his shoulder lifting his tail from the waters to see a massive fat grey fish chewing on the tip. He gave it a disgusted look and when the fish saw him looking at it, it drew back its lips in a big smile revealing 4 long rows of teeth. Kirishima's eyes widened and he flicked his tail sharply throwing the gross fish off of him. Just as he did he felt something on his legs and in the dark purple water a pack of the gnarly fish began to surround them.

"Arg, I told you this was a dumb idea!" Bakugou yelled.

The dragon tried to shake off the fish and slowly became anxious. He then panicked begining to run away. Bakugou quickly grabbed onto his stone back tightly a little surprised by the sudden reaction.

"Hey! Slow the fuck down! Why the hell are you running away?!"

Kirishima was never the one to run from anything. However the forests enchantment made his senses heighten causing unnecessary anxiety. So he ran not knowing where they were heading. As he ran the river widened and began to get deeper making the dragon panic more he stopped swishing around in the water looking for the fish.

"Rock head relax!" Bakugou called out. "Hey! You need to calm the fuck down! KIRISHIMA!"

The dragon stopped, panting he looked to Bakugou who grabbed his face.

"Go to the shore dumbass!" He instructed.

Kirishima calmed thinking about the uproar he just made then began to make his way to the bank a little ashamed. The sand was tan instead of black and seemed harmless. He played on its squishy surface trying to put himself together. Bakugou lept off his back touching the sand to make sure it was alright and seemed fine. He turned around looking at the dragon before hitting him over the head.

"What the hell was that?! They were just a bunch of fish!" He yelled.

Kirishima's large eyes stared at him wavering. He didn't know what came over him and didn't know how to answer. Bakugou bared his teeth turning away.

"Fine, forget about it." He sighed. "Let's just walk on the shore."

The red creatures head drooped and he followed silently behind the rogue along the sandy beach. He watched Bakugou's cape sway side to side as he marched ahead. He was so focused on it that he didn't notice when the man stopped. He bumped into him lightly then stood up straight. He got ready for Bakugou to yell at him to watch where he was going but the man stayed silent. Kirishima lifted his head to smell the air. As he did he smelt something sweet like lavender and plums.

"Cover your mouth!" Bakugou called up using the red Cape to cover his own.

The dragon tried to use his paw but the sent still seeped through. Out of the forest a violet mist began to flow around them. Bakugou wrapped his cape over his head and around his kneck like a shawl to keep his senses safe. However Kirishima's rocky paws could not keep the smoke out. He began to get dizzy losing sight of Bakugou. The blond turned to see the dragons body fading into the sparkles of light as he fell asleep turning back into a man. Bakugou ran to his side catching the naked boy.

"Damn, why do you always have to be such a pain in the ass."
