Kirishima kept running even though they were a long ways away from the forest. The day had been long and night had already fallen. Bakugou could feel his energy slipping as he climbed the dragons neck."Stop running you rock head. We're far enough."
The large red creature slowed down huffing for breath and looking around himself. Baku didn't care where they were or what time it was all he wanted was to find shelter and get some rest. He looked over their surroundings. They were coming up to a river that ran around a cliff covered in moss and trees.
"Go to the river. Let's see if we can find a cave or something to sleep in."
The mercenary had become too exhausted to be angry or feisty with his words. Kirishima too was losing strength as he turned around the cliff side and walked on the edge of the river. The two stopped to see a large willow tree growing near the stone edge. Kirishima made his way into the over hanging den and flopped to the ground curling himself up in the roots. Bakugou tried to get down but slipped off the dragons shoulder. Kirishima caught him in his teeth and slowly lowered him close to his chest where the dragons warm lungs would keep him safe and comfortable through the night. Bakugou did not fight this, he had fought all day and traveled far. The dragon then watched his rescuer fall asleep before allowing himself to drift away.

The next morning Bakugou awoke nestled in the roots of the large tree with his Cape wrapped around his body. He sat up slowly scanning around for his companion then swiftly stood up when he didn't see him. He rushed out of the willows staring over the river.
"Rock head? Where are you? Get your spiky ass back here!" He yelled.
He stood out looking down the river then felt the ground shake. He turned around to see the dragon bound off the cliffs edge and extend his wings to glide down in front of the man. As he landed he fell into a crouch and wiggled his butt excitedly.
"And where the hell have you been?"
Kirishima raised his head to point to the cliff where smoke was now rising from. He looked back at the man and smiled a big sharp toothed grin.
"What are you hiding up there dumbass?"
Bakugou walked past the dragon and began to scale the small rock wall. Kirishima crouched down and with one large leap returned to the top of the cliff. As the Rogue got to the top he saw a large fire with many speared fish smoking around it. On its side was a fully picked bushel of salmon berries. It seemed as the dragon was too large to pick them individually he simply brought the whole bush.
"Huh." Bakugou said placing a hand on his hip. "Not bad dragon."
Kirishima spun around and curled up by the fire with a large panting smile. Bakugou made his way to the feast and grabbed two sticks. He yanked the first fish off and tossed it to Kirishima who caught it in his jaw slurping it whole. The blond took a bite careful to not eat the bones. He looked over his fish to see Kirishima looking out into the early morning sky. In his head he did the math then spoke up.
"Hey, this isn't gonna be enough for you to eat is it?"
The Red Dragon shrugged making Bakugou irritated.
"Hey! Dont shrug it off dumb ass! If ya don't eat properly then how the hell am I gonna get you all the way back to the southern kingdom?!"
Kirishima's red eyes flashed at the Rogues worry and he swished his tale.
"We'll find you something a bit bigger once we get moving. What do you say?"
The dragon let out a light bark and waited impatiently for Bakugou to finish eating.

Once they had put out the fire they began to walk through farming territory on the outskirts of the land far enough to watch the live stock."Kay make this quick." Bakugou instructed.
Kirishima sat down and looked at Bakugou with a raised brow. His face easily read. "you want me to do what?"
"Just go. Fly over there grab a cow and we'll get the hell outta here."
The large dragon looked at the animals hesitantly then swished his face back to Bakugou.
"Hurry your ass up, I'll meet you on the other side."
The blond savage began to jog away from the red creature who slowly approached the farm.
Bakugou began to run across the fencing looking back to see if the dragon was making a move. He stopped when he didn't see the bright red beast but then it sprung from the rocks gliding into the field he snatched up a sheep and swooped back up towards the rogue. Bakugou began to run again and the dragon flew over his head leaving a heavy breeze to flush the grass as well as his Cape. A wide excited smile crossed his face and he raced to catch up with the dragon.
In the mountains past the farms Kirishima sat holding the sheep between his arms. Bakugou finally caught up with him and was surprised to see the sheep still alive.
"What are you doing? Hurry up and eat it so we can get outta here!" Bakugou pointed at the dragon.
Kirishima nuzzled the fluffy cloud animal and gave the Rogue his best puppy eyes.
"What?! You did not just steal it only to be afraid to kill it!" The man enraged.
His red lips fell into a pout as his long ears drooped back.
"Don't gimme that look!" Baku snarled. "Are you gonna eat it or do I gotta leave you here?!"
Kirishima's desperate eyes switched from Bakugou to the sheep switching between the two. The blond sighed scratching his head.
"Fine. I'll do it." He said holding out his sword.
The dragon pushed the sheep out from under him before shielding his eyes. Bakugou caught the fluffy creature trying to calm it down. He brought up his sword whipping it around before striking the creature with the hilt of his blade. The creature let out a last peep and fell down.
"Be quick." He walked off.
Kirishima looked down expecting a mess of blood and sheep's fur only to see the sheep out cold. He looked at Bakugou who was walking away feeling he misjudged him.
