The days had past and Kirishima was back to his happy red dragon self. He was a little confused when Bakugou said they were going to be going to a witch in the western kingdom. He circled Bakugou as they walked out of the cave and into the sunlight. When they were out Kirishima took a deep breath of the clear mountain air. He looked back down at Bakugou who just stared over the valley thoughtfully. Kirishima sat down and nodded his head to the side letting out a confused growl.
"Yeah, we're gonna have to go by sea." Bakugou answered.
The crimson beast sat on his hind legs pointing at his whole body letting out another grumble.
"Yeah I know you're huge. So we gotta find a big ass boat. Unless you're planning on swimming."
The red dragon shook his rocky head and looked out to the path they were going to take. He stood back on all fours and began to track down the mountain as Bakugou followed behind him. The two were off again making their journey twice as long. Though Kirishima did not know why he could see that Bakugou had good reasoning, and his determination was easy to follow.
The two traveled across the many vast lands stopping only for food or shelter. Every night Kirishima would try to protect Bakugou with his dragon body only to fall asleep and have the blond rogue protect his human form.
The days past and they reached the harbor city. It was large and not homely at all. The streets were covered in new inventive electronics and mechanic items such as lights, motorized vehicles and more. But they were not in the city to see the inventions and creative differences. They were there to find a boat, a very big boat.
Kirishima tiptoed nervously behind Bakugou. He was a massive dragon in a tight clustered town. He felt out of place and feared he would break something or someone. He whimpered as he slowed down trying to watch each step.
Bakugou stopped when the towering dragon fell behind. He turned around watching the beast acting like a small puppy as he whined and inched over the city.
"Come on you stupid dragon don't worry about it, we gotta get to the harbor." He looked up at the crimson tower.
Kirishima let out an array of noises and looked around when he saw some city folks stopping to stare at the beast in awe.
"I don't care what the people think! it's not your fault that you're a colossal dragon, just ignore them and let's go." He went on ahead.
Kirishima whined again and tried to pick up the pace. They were making it pretty far until the massive creatures hips swayed too far and knocked over a lamp post into the city streets. Bakugou looked back again and face palmed himself before rushing to the dragon.
"Always with that ass of yours!" Bakugou yelled.
He stood out in the traffic trying to lure the carriages and odd vehicles away while Kirishima tried to put the lamp post back up. However the post had been bolted before so now it just swayed in place. The red dragon looked to Bakugou for help. The spikey blond left the streets and went back to the the broken pole. He looked it over seeing it sway as it was ready to buckle once again. Then he got an idea.
"You really fucked this one rockhead." He hid a smile. "So you're gonna fix it."
Kirishima gave a low grumble and snipped at Bakugou.
"Yeah but I didn't tell you to knock over a whole street light! Now I have an idea are you gonna listen or sass me?!"
The red dragon sat with a flop waiting to hear his companions plan.
"This thing is iron. Just use your fire and melt in place."
Kirishima got up again nodding excitedly at the plan.
"Alright." Bakugou backed up into the traffic again to give the large beasts flames some space. "Do it then numb skull."
Kirishima grabbed onto the post to keep it steady. He then kneeled in close lightly breathing his blue and violet fire, which were the hottest flames he could muster, to melt the post in place. When the iron began to sweep into the broken earth, Kirishima stopped. He sat up and waited for it to cool but it was taking too long. The dragon called for Bakugou who stopped what he was doing and went back to check on the progress. When he saw the hot metal he grumbled.
"Shit, this will take way too fucking long to harden." He snapped.
But just as he said that water was thrown over the metal making it steam and sizzle before becoming more stable. Kirishima let it go and the two looked back to see two young women staring up at them.
The first one holding the bucket, was a small woman with long dark green hair and a very cute appearance. Her eyes were large and her barmaid dress sweeped just above her ankles. The other was a slim girl with short black hair and long dangling earrings that sat on her shoulders.
"Thanks." Bakugou said as if not meaning it.
"You're welcome." The short haired girl said with the same tone. "So, what are you doing in the city, especially with a... Dragon." She asked.
"That's none of your business." Bakugou stated sternly.
"We aren't trying to be rude." The other girl spoke. "We saw you struggling from the diner and thought you could use a hand."
"Well we're fine." The rogue turned. "Let's go."
Kirishima hesitated looking at the girls wanting to ask what they could help with but knew it was a lost cause. He slowly turned with his head and tail drooping. The one girl looked at the other and smiled before calling out to them.
"Suit yourself." The long haired girl shrugged "But if you're looking for a ship big enough for your friend we could help."
Kirishima stood up straight and turned an ear before his head followed. He looked back at Bakugou who was ignoring them and then took action. He grabbed the rogue by the Cape and carried him back to the girls.
"Hey! Let me go you Moron!! We don't need their help."
Kirishima rolled his eyes and dropped Bakugou in front of them. He glared up at the dragon who smiled and nodded to the girls. The blond turned around with cranky eyes.
"I'm Bakugou." He grumbled.
"I'm Tsuyu, but you can call me Tsu. This is Jiro." The long haired female smiled softly.
"Well do you need a boat or what?" Jiro cut to the chase.
Kirishima nodded quickly and Bakugou sighed. "Yeah, we do."
