Sero's carriage reached the base of the mountain only taking half a day, he stopped at Bakugou's request looking over his shoulder to watch the other male as the rogue leapt out of the back and stared up the rocky hillside.

"Good luck Bakugou." Sero smiled.

"I don't need luck." He said with a brute voice.

"If ya say so." Sero shrugged before moving the reins for Mineta to move on.

Bakugou's eyes did not shift as he stared up to where the dragon laid in wait. His fists were clenched and his eyes burned. His entire body became numb as his heart pulled down into his gut. He closed his eyes before beginning to run up the rocky slope.

At the top of the mountain the sleeping boy lay. His skin was pale as his breathing had quickened. He had been alone for a day and a half, fighting as best he could waiting for Bakugou to return. And he did. The blond rushed into the cave heaving for air but not stopping till he reached the crimson dragon. He fell to his knees and checked up on the boy.

"You're alive." His voice cracked. "Now let's get you better."

He pulled the boy into his lap holding him close. He sighed in relief as he felt the boy's body moving in his arms. He opened the blanket to reveal his chest then began to apply the ointment over the firm surface. When it settled he took the water from the cup he had left and held up Kirishima's head to let the water trickle down. He then tried for the berries but the boy was unable to swallow. Bakugou furrowed his brows then he chewed the fruit himself. He reached down pulling Kirishima's face up to his. He lightly placed his lips over the pale boys to slip the blend into his mouth. He stroked his fingers over his Kirishima's throat helping the food go down.

"After all this you better survive." Bakugou growled.

He went to chew up some jerky but was surprised when he felt more movement from the boy.

"Baku-" A dry voice trembled.

The rogue looked down at the redhead in awe. "Kirishima?"

Kirishima's eyes opened to reveal his bright cat red view. They were watery and unable to focus as they shook.

"Bakugou..." He said again. "You look so manly."

His bright shark tooth smile fluttered the rock hearted male above him and he closed his eyes again. He looked over him searching, hoping for him to speak again, but the boy was out cold. He moved his tangled hair out of his face feeling his hot sweat beaded forehead. He wanted to ask Kirishima questions. Was he a dragon normally? Was this a power he could control? Or was it a curse? He wanted the boy to wake up so he could demand answers but knew it was impossible. He grabbed the jerky and went on feeding the boy.

***************°•❤•°***************

Hours had passed since Bakugou had treated the boy. He sat by the fire with Kirishima's face laying soundly in his lap. His fever had gone down but his body was weak from not being able to eat or drink. The grouchy Rogue laid back against the stone rocks letting out a long heave of air. He too was exhausted from rushing to the far away city and back without any real rest. He was lucky enough to find a ride and since it was cutting it close. But now everything was alright and all he had to do was watch over the dragon until he was well.

Deep at the edge of the cave a small pink light illuminated the entrance. Bakugou held onto Kirishima and watched in silence expecting the light to move on but it became brighter. Around the corner came a small figure with a staff and a large hat. Bakugou reached for his sword but as the figure came closer he stopped.

"Round face?" He said.

"Bakugou?" Called a brunette pink dressed sorceress.

The bright eyed girl blew out the magical ember and joined them at the fire.

"What are you doing up here?" She asked.

"None of your business." He grumbled.

She nodded her head to the side and looked at the sick boy in his lap. She noticed the mercenaries hands gripped the boy tightly as if protecting him.

"Who's this?"

"What did I just say?" He got impatient.

"Ok, ok sheesh." She sighed. "I was just up here looking for rain stones for a new spell. But then I saw the fire."

"And what if I was a murderer?" Bakugou smirked.

"I can handle myself just fine." She moved in closer.

She couldn't take her eyes off of the sick boy in Bakugou's arms. She sat down on the stone floor from a distance and pointed to the red haired males arm.

"Can you show me his wrist." She asked.

"What, why?" He said defensively.

"Can you just lose the third degree and show me." She gave him an unimpressed look.

Bakugou glared over to the side and brought out the sick males arm. Uraraka took his hand softly and turned it over to see a spread out red wings tattoo reaching out to the edges of his wrist. But over it a black smoke tried to hide it.

"Oh, he's part of the Dragoon Tribe. Looks like he's got a nasty spell on him." She said thinking Bakugou knew this.

But he didn't, he stared at the wrist in surprise, the Dragoon tribe was very isolated, they never really left the mountains unless of great importance. He thought back to the aprentanceing that Midoriya had mentioned in the village. He remembered seeing two dragon borns there, in fact one of them had been in the top seven. Had it really been the same boy? He had been so lost in the need to win and the anger of Deku taking first that he could barely rememeber anyone that had been there. His eyes moved back to the girl.

"A what?" He said knowing what they were but trapped in his own shock.

She blinked slowly then placed Kirishima's arm back by his side wrapping him up again.

"Um... Oh.... well...." she bit her lip. "You know what the Dragoon tribe is right?"

"Of course I do, are you saying this kid is one of them?" He looked down at the the red head.

"Uh, yeah?" She raised a brow thinking it was obvious. "They are very rare so I guess you're lucky to have one with you. However he has a spell binding his transformation, which means when he's awake he stays as a dragon."

Bakugou didn't look up from Kirishima as he pet his thick hair away from his pale face.

"So that's what's going on." He said mostly to himself. "Hey round face." He looked back to her. "Can you undo this spell?"

"Me?!" Her voice cracked. "No way, I'm just a beginner, this is a dark magic spell. The only witch I know who can help you out is Midnight."

"Midnight." Bakugou recognized the name.

She put her cute face in her hands watching Bakugou's reactions.  "So what are you guys gonna do?"

Bakugou glared at Uraraka baring his teeth. "We're gonna take a little detour."
