Taekook zombie apocalypse au

Chapter four

Taehyung's POV:
"Ughhhhhh, we've been walking for like hours" Jungkook complained. "Oh for God sake Jungkook, stop complaining, you've been saying that every five minutes for the past hour, we've only been walking for 3 hours and like half of that was spent 'resting' cause you were being lazy, I just wanna get back to my group before sundown, so could you please stop complaining" I replied angry at his behaviour. "Fine" he huffed in response. I sighed " look I get it, your meeting a new group of people who you don't know, you don't really have any reason to be excited about getting there, but I've been with them since the start, we're practically family and I'm just really worried about them". He only shrugged in response. "Look, if we keep going now we'll probably get back to camp in under an hour" I said in the hopes of cheering him up.  I guess he saw what I was trying to do because he turned around and gave me weak smile that was clearly forced even though he tried to hide that fact. He's really cute, I'm sure my group will love him, especially Jin, he loves talking care of people for an unknown reason. It's almost like he tries to be a mother to us.

Jungkook's POV:
'Ohhhhhhh god' I thought. We're getting closer to taehyung's group. The closer we get the higher my anxiety gets. I've never been good with new people. The only reason I'm able to talk to Taehyung is because I was saving him when we first met, it made things less awkward for me to know that he owed me his life and I didn't have to prove myself to him. But with a new group I'm being brought into it's a whole different story, I have to meet five new people all at once. I'm going to be an intruder in their lives, I'm not gonna fit in, it's just like Taehyung said, they've been together since the start, there family and I'm not part of it. There all going to hate me for ruining their perfect little family. But maybe since I saved Taehyung they might accept me more. Aghhhhh I don't know, I'm just overthinking it, Taehyung said his group is nice, it'll all be fine I just need to stay calm and be polite to them, that wouldn't be too hard.

~Timeskip~
We spent the rest of the walk in silence and before I knew it we were approaching a small looking camp with six tents and a little fire for cooking. It was surrounded by barbed wire, to keep out walkers I presume. It was on top of a mountain so I'm sure not many walkers came around, they usually stay in cities, there's more 'food' for them there. The camp didn't look very secure but it would be ok for another while, until the walkers run out of food in the cities, then there going to start coming out to places like this in search of 'food'.

Taehyung's POV:
We got back to camp sooner than I expected. I saw all my Hyungs standing around camp. They clearly hadn't noticed mine and Jungkook's presence yet. I ran into the camp and jumped onto the closest person I saw, Jimin, he clearly panicked still not knowing who it was. He turned around ready to punch whoever had just 'attacked' him, but as soon as he saw me he instantly started laughing and hugged me back. This caught the attention of the rest of the members who all ran to me, no one noticing Jungkook who was still standing awkwardly outside the camp. Yoongi Hyung was the first person to notice him.

Jungkook's POV:
"Who the hell are you?" one of taehyung's group members asked clearly pissed off. "Who the fuck do you think your talking to shorty" I replied angrily. This caught the attention of the rest of the group members who turned to look at me with curious eyes. 'Well so much for a polite introduction' I thought to myself.
