Taekook zombie apocalypse au

Chapter eight

Sorry this update took so long, I'm a mess of a human being. School started 2 weeks ago and I'm still trying to get back into the swing of things, so I really appreciate you guys being patience (idk y but my mind completely blanked and it took me 2 minuets to figure out how to spell patience).

Taehyung's pov:
I woke up to the warmth of Jungkook cuddled up into my side. I was beginning to think this would become a daily occurrence and to be honest it didn't bother me in the slightest. In fact I was beginning to love it, it was the only time I could be this close to Jungkook and not have to deal with Jimin's constant mocking. Something about being this close to Jungkook was comforting, his smell was relaxing and the was his nose scrunched up cutely when he was dreaming made Taehyung's heart beat faster.

Authors pov;
Jungkook began to stir and slowly open his eyes. He looked up at Taehyung, still cuddling up to him, and smiled sleepily. "Morning Tae" he said half groggy from sleep. Taehyungs face instantly heated up at the adorable sight of a sleepy Jungkook smiling up at him. "Morning Kook" he replied smiling. The tent door was opened causing the bright rays of the morning sun to shine in on the two, who cringed at the brightness. Jungkook snuggled further into Taehyung, burying his face into his side in the hopes of avoiding the powerful rays invading his tired eyes. Once Taehyung's eyes adjusted to the light, he saw Jin standing in the door way. "Breakfast is ready, Hoseok refused to go in and call you, I now see why". Taehyung tolled his eyes in response. "Just come out and before everything's gone cold" Jin huffed, clearly annoyed by Taehyung's rude response, before walking away. Jungkook slowly pulled his head away from Taehyung, eyes squinting as he tried to adjust to the light. They both slowly started to climb out of the tent as the rumbling of their stomach reminded them of their hunger. The same as yesterday the rest of the group was gathered around eating and the two stragglers joined in sitting next to Jimin who skilled at them once he noticed their presence. "Morning" he cheerfully greeted them. "Morning" they both smiled back in response.

The whole group sat together for a while talking, but their peace was soon interrupted by groaning that only got louder until the dead could be seen shuffling up to the walls of the camp. "Shit" Namjoon cursed "they've never come out this far". "They must have ran out of food in the cities and come out here looking for more" Jungkook responded while getting up to grab his weapons. The rest of the group quickly followed after him grabbing their own weapons.

Sorry this upload is so short... and boring but I hope you enjoyed anyway. I'm still new to this whole writing thing so bare with as I try to figure things out. Thanks so much for reading.
