Jungkook meets Taehyung after the world is overrun by the dead, Taehyung brings Jungkook back to his group BTS. Will there friendship become more. Will this rag tag group survive and what hardships will they face along the way
Author's POV: The group were gather around the table eating quietly before Namjoon broke the silence "we need to go on a run to gather more food and water, we're running low and now we have another mouth to feed. We didn't manage to gather anything on our last run cause Taehyung got lost...again" the stated. Jungkook looked confused "again?" he mumbled. Taehyung scratched the back of his neck while giggling nervously. "Ya, Taehyung has a habit of running of and getting lost when we go on supply runs, we can't leave him at the camp either cause he might do something stupid like burn it down" Jimin said nudging Tae. "He's a smart kid but he sometimes doesn't have much common sense" Jin added. Jungkook nodded still slightly confused but decided to shrug it off. After eating the group went back to their own tents to get supplies for the run then gather back around the table. "For this run we're going to split up into groups to cover as much ground as possible. Group 1 will be Jin, Hoseok and I, group 2 will be Jimin, Taehyung and Jungkook. Yoongi will stay back to guard the camp." Namjoon decided. Yoongi let out a sigh of annoyance having to stay back by himself while the rest just nodded. "This will also give Jungkook a chance to prove his loyalty to the group" Hoseok added cheerfully. Jungkook internally sighed glad to be with Taehyung to avoid any awkward interaction with the other group members.
The whole group headed out to the nearest town before heading off in two different directions. "Be back here before sundown" Namjoon said just before they left. Taehyung and Jimin chatted happily together while Jungkook trailed along behind them silently. When they arrived at the closest house the older two stood in front of it in slight fear of what might be behind the door. For behind them Jungkook rolled his eyes before deciding to take the lead. He walked up to the front door and started banging heavily on the door. The sound of feat dragging and groaning came from the dead behind the door. There didn't seem to be that many. Jungkook took out his knife and put his hand on the door knob looking back at the other two to see them taking out their weapons too. They nodded their heads at Jungkook signallingfor him to open the door. He slowly turned the door knob, knife raised ready to kill the walkers. He stabbed the first walker while Tae and Jimin followed his lead killing two more walkers. They were a total of six walkers, Jungkook killed four while Jimin and Taehyung killed one each. They checked each room one by one ensuring there were no more walkers before beginning to search for supplies. Jungkook was searching one of the upstairs bedrooms, hoping to find clothes as most of his were covered in blood and guts,as he was changing his shirt, he was startled by an excited Taehyung giggling while running towards him. He sighed "what is it Tae" he asked. The older stopped giggling turning slightly red because of the nickname and the sight before him. 'Damn' he thought admiring Jungkook's abs.

"Tae?" Jungkook called bringing Taehyung back into reality. Taehyung remembered why he came up in the first place and started giggling again. He pulled a huge can of unopened chocolate pudding from behind his back causing Jungkook's eyes to light up(sorry I just really like the walking dead). Just then Jimin walked into the room his jaw dropping at the sight of Jungkook before seeing what was in Taehyung' s hand his eyes also widening in excitement. "I vote we eat it all now and not tell the others" Jimin said. "Agreed" the other two stated while giggling like children. Taehyung quickly ran back down stairs, returning with the can open and three spoons, just as Jungkook finished putting on his shirt. Taehyung excitedly passed a spoon to the other two before they all quickly dug into the pudding. Once they were finished the can Jungkook looked over at Taehyung before bursting into laughter. "You're such a slop Tae" Jungkook said between laughter looking over at Taehyung's chocolate covered face. Without thinking Jungkook reached over and wiped the chocolate from around Taehung's mouth causing Tae to blush. As soon as Jungkook realised what he had done he blushed harder than he had ever in his life, ears turning dead, he quickly excused himself. Once he left Jimin look over at the blushing Tae and started wiggling his eyebrows causing Taehyung to blush harder. "So you and Jungkook huh" Jimin asked, an amused look on his face. "W-what n-no it's not like that we only j-just met, he didn't mean t-to it was an accident" Taehyung stuttered out in embarrassment. Making Jimin laugh even more.
After searching a few more houses the boys returned to the meeting spot just as the sun was setting. Their bags were all filled with food, water and spare clothes. The embarrassment had been forgotten about and they spent the time laughing together as they searched houses. Jungkook had gotten closer to Jimin and Taehyung in that short amount of time. Jungkook new from the time they spent together that day that he wanted to spen the rest of his life, which he knew may not be that long, with the group. As they were waiting at the car for the others, Jungkook looked of at taehyung "thanks for bringing me back to your group with you, I know I was only a stranger to you but you trusted me anyway. I want to thank you for giving me a chance, it's not often you meet someone nice and trusting these days. I've been alone since the start of this and I never thought I needed a group but you showed me today how fun it can be. This is the most I've laughed since this whole thing started and it's all thanks to you" Jungkook said sincerely. Hey don't mention it, we're family now, all of us " Tae responded. "Eww I'm still here you know, a little less pda would be nice" Jimin said jokingly resulting in a punch from Taehyung. They all burst into laughter just as the other group came back.
