Chapter 27

I take a deep breath and head towards the exit of the building, to which I'm greeting by Susie and Ben who were both patiently waiting for me.
"Hi guys.. sorry to keep you so long."
I apologise awkwardly, scratching the back of my head. Ben stuffs his hands in his pockets and shakes his head, he goes to speak but Susie manages to get her word in first. Though Ben didn't seem happy about that as he glared at her almost instantly.
"Don't worry about it! It's over now right?"
I sign, looking down to my feet. Susie realised my gesture and her expression soon drops.
"C'mon [Name]. Why don't we all go out for a bite to eat."
Ben suggests, trying to lighten the mood. It was nice for him to do that. But to be honest, it was nice for him just to come with me here today. I had to admit, I couldn't help feeling a bit awkward around him because of the fact that I kept hugging him that night and even stopped him from leaving my room. Asking him to stay.
When I had woken up, he wasn't there, but he was still in the house, he was in the guest bedroom. Why he didn't sleep on the inflatable mattress we blew up for him in my room, I don't know.
"Yeah a meal sounds good! [Name], you in?!"
Susie asks with a pleading face and puppy dog eyes. I couldn't help but laugh.
"Oh Susie. How could I say no to that face."

Eyeless Jacks POV
LJ and I had finally completed setting up the trap for the mission target we were meant to capture. It took a few days to perfect everything but it was finally done. Now all that was left, was capturing the person.
"Uh, EJ? Just realised. Neither of us exactly look.. well, normal. So how do we plan to successfully kidnap her. One look at us and she'll head screaming for the hills."
I grunt angrily to his words, though he did have a point. A monochrome clown and an kidney eating monster isn't going to get very far. We needed help from someone.
"I have an idea."
We leave the building and hurry back to Slenders mansion. We needed to ask Sally for a favour.

Readers POV
We finally arrive at a really posh café. Though not the one where that dead girl used to work. After her death, the shops business hasn't been too good and they were planning on closing for a while. So we decided to go to a different café just around the block.
"So. What's everyone ordering?"
Ben asks as he opens his hard cover menu, flicking through the pages.
"Hm... the lasagna sounds good!"
Susie smiles as she lowers her menu and points to the lasagna dish. Everything sold here was quite pricy but the food was definitely worth it.
"Hmmm.. I think I'll have the sea-food platter."
Ben was the next to decide as he closed his menu and places it down on the table. That just left me. What was I going to order. Come on [Name].. the guys are waiting!
"Oh! I know.. I'll have [FavouriteDish]"
"Oo great choice!"
Susie gasps. I couldn't help but chuckle. Why is she always so perky and where the hell does she get her energy.

Soon enough, the waitress came and took our orders. So now it was the thought of waiting for our food.
However, as we were waiting, Susies face suddenly dropped.
"Oh gosh! I forgot my purse. I'm gonna run home and grab it-"
"No no, Susie, I'll play for you-"
"That's okay [Name], I'll only be a minute!"
And with that, Susie left the café and we watch as she rushes past the window. Heading towards her house.

[A/N: I was told in the comments that a few of you wanted to see my attempt to draw Ben. Now, I have done it, but I am no artist. Things are out of proportion and it's not really very good - drawing people is always something I've struggled with.

When I draw however, I draw with preference. This basically means, I'll have the original picture in front of me, and I'll draw as I look at that picture. I DO NOT TRACE! That is cheating XD

I did try my best but as I said. I am no artist.. but if you're curious for how I draw animals, they're a tiny bit better, but still nothing great. (Sadly I can't find the preference pictures, so you'll just have to look at what I drew without preference to compare)
