Chapter 20

As I lay on my bed. A lot went through my mind. I felt angry, scared, manipulated but most of all, confused.
Why did Bens behaviour suddenly change from being annoying and cheerful, to being seriously and somewhat.. lustful?
I could still feel his hot breath breathing down on my neck. If the timer didn't go off... how far would he have gone?...
"Ugh! No!"
I groan as I shake my head to rid of the disgusting thoughts coursing through my mind.
Sitting up from my bed, I stand and make my way to the door, heading downstairs to greet my parents as dinner would be coming up soon and I was starving.
"Hi mum, dad."
I smile cheerfully as I sit at the kitchen table. My mother sat opposite me. Today was Thursday. Thursday was the day where my mother and father swap roles for the day. My father cooks and cleans. My mother does whatever my father would do during the day. My father and I didn't have much of a close relationship like me and my mother, so I never really know what he does during the day, other than out working.
"Hi sweetheart. How was your day?"
My mother smiles at me kindly as she puts down her pen. My mother's job was an author and she could always been seen with a pen and paper in her hand whenever she got the chance, mainly to write down plans for her book or maybe even for a new one.
"Yeah not bad thank you. Photography was fun."
"Oh that's great! You always say how you hated photography. Why the sudden change?"
She claps her hands together with joy as her eyes squint shut. Her face tight and perky as she smiles wide. Though I couldn't tell her about Jakob. She would read too much into it and then my father would get involved. Which would be bad.
"Uh actually mum. I wanted to ask.."
I had to think quickly, make an excuse or think of a real question. Anything to change the topic.
"Um. My tutor, Ben? You said he would be my watcher but you also said about him being my roommate? But he left a minute ago and said his shift was up?"
I could see the sudden focused expression across her face as she thinks about what I had just asked. By the seems of it, she either didn't know, or had forgotten something. Suddenly her expression changes as if something came to mind. Turns out she had just forgotten.
"Oh yes! We forgot to mention. Thursdays and Fridays are his days off. So you won't have to deal with him for the rest of today or tomorrow at all. But expect him to be there Saturday morning when you wake up."
I was relieved to hear that I wouldn't have to deal with him everyday for every hour for every minute for every second. I would go insane. But then I suddenly realise what my mother had just said.
"He'll be there when I wake up Saturday morning?! Mum, what if he's some sort of perv and watches me sleep?!-"
"That's enough [Name]."
My father ordered as he brings over our food. I lower my head and apologise for my words. Luckily I only said it once so he lets me off the hook. I still wasn't happy about it though.
Ignoring the thought of it. I tuck into my food, munching it down. It was my favourite dish to have.

BEN Drowned POV
Once I arrived back at the mansion, I was greeted by Toby who was waiting by the front door.
"B-B-BEN! Hurry and g-get changed. We have a m-m-mission."
He says, tugging on the sleeve to my top. I scoff and yank my arm out of his grip.
"Alright! I'll be out in a sec, tic-tic-ticci Toby!"
I mock as I stroll into the building. I could hear Toby growling with frustration behind me. I couldn't help but laugh. Taking the piss out of Toby or even Jeff was the highlight of my day.
As I made my way to my room, I suddenly spot Jeff waiting outside the door, leaning against the wooden frame. Once he noticed me, instant anger plasters across his face. "Oi! Elf dick!  Where have you been?!"
He growls, taking his knife out of his pocket. I just roll my eyes and continue into my room, Jeff follows in behind me.
"None of your business Jeffery."
I dismiss his question, opening my wardrobe, looking for my usual green outfit.
Though I couldn't help chuckling when Jeff finally reacts to me calling him Jeffery.
"I told you not to call me that!-"
"And I told you not to call me Elf dick, Zelda, elf boy- or any other pathetic reference you can think of!"
"That's it!"
He growls as he pounced on me, slashing his knife around. Desperately trying to cut me. Jeff was such an angry person. He would get infuriated at the slightest of things. You only have to look at him funny and he'll try to kill you.
I would usually stick around and let Jeff have his fun but I had a mission to complete with Toby and I've been missing the feeling of killing and taking human life. With a simple glitch of my body, I teleport away from him, into the Tv in the sitting room. Before hurrying out into room itself and making a run for the front door.
"BEN YOU FUCKER!"
I hear Jeff shout after I had left him alone on the floor. Using my power to escape from Jeff was also fun as it made him so angry.

Finally I reach Toby and we head out into the forest, making our way into town to complete our mission.
