Readers POV
After finally calming down from my rage outbreak on everything. I decide to take a breather and go watch Tv downstairs. Though this time, I would watch a DVD. That way, no disturbing, upsetting and traumatic new reports can put me down.
Flicking through my DVD collection, I came across a film I haven't seen in years, it was one of my favourites. Smiling to myself, I take it out of the case and place it into the DVD Player. Pressing play, grabbing the control and heading towards the sofa to sit down. I had prepared snacks and drinks and I also had a blanket. Just to feel more calm and enjoy the film.
Although, as the film continued, something seemed different. I couldn't quite figure it out. As if something was added, or maybe even missing. I just knew something was strange about the film. It wasn't the same.
However, as I begin to realise, the tv began to 'act' strange. The same thing that happened to my computer, started happening to my tv. The screen would glitch and jump, the film would distort and skip. The characters faces would merge and melt as the pixels smudges together. All until the screen turned completely black. By this point I was already standing to my feet, my breathing increasing as my heart rate grew faster. Surely the virus wouldn't be in my tv.
"This isn't happening.. We, we just need a new tv! That's all!.... no virus could come into the tv from my computer."
As I tried to convince myself it was just a technical fault, the blank screen suddenly flashed and a pixelated grey screen appeared as a crackly static sound emerged from the speakers. But even the static sounded distorted. I didn't understand. But as I stand confused and worried, a spine chilling, hair raising, evil, menacing, distorted and glitchy laugh bellows through my ear drums. Causing my entire body to shiver.
"Is ThAt SoOo?"
Spoke a voice in the exact same manner as the horrifying laugh. By which that laugh continued ringing through my ears as the tv distorted more and more, until water began to pour out of the screen. Screaming, I jump onto the sofa for safety, just incase it was electrified. But for starters, water shouldn't even be coming out of the Tv!
"What's going on?!?!!!"
I cry as my panic only increases. All I could hear was rushing water and that eerie laugh, chilling me right to the bone.
"WhAtS goOinG OoOOn YoOu AsSsSSsk!?"
I couldn't stand the voice. It was distorted and glitchy, jumping from high to low pitch, getting louder and louder. Dragging out letters and hissing the S's.

Just as I thought it couldn't get any worse, I was wrong. I started to practically hyperventilate as long Slender fingers began to push out of the tv screen. The fingers were followed by hands, followed by arms and followed by elbows. Climbing over the back of the sofa. I couldn't believe what I was seeing. I was so scared, so shocked, so horrified that I was frozen. What I was seeing was not possible. Someone, no, someTHING was crawling out of my tv. It wore a green outfit with a matching hat, completely smothered in blood. It's skin and hair was dripping wet, its body covered in what seemed to be seaweed or some sort of underwater plant. It's eyes were completely black, all except for dark yet bright red pupils. Its drenched hair covering part of its face, revealing its long sharp, almost knife like ears. It's long nails scratching at the floor as it crawls it's way out of the Tv. A long sharp toothed grin plastered on its face as it continues its menacing laugh.

"WhaAtssSs wRoOnGg [NaAaamEee]? ArRe yoOu SsSSsscAared!?" It hisses with its terrifying chuckle, it's entire body glitching like a broken video game

"WhaAtssSs wRoOnGg [NaAaamEee]? ArRe yoOu SsSSsscAared!?"
It hisses with its terrifying chuckle, it's entire body glitching like a broken video game.
Screaming out my lungs, I turn and run into the next room. But everywhere I went, there is was, standing with its evil grin and horrid laugh, getting closer and closer.
"STAY AWAY FROM ME!"
I scream as I make a run for the kitchen, only for it to appear directly in front of me. Causing me to suddenly come to a stop, slipping on the now wet surface created by this thing, landing in the floor hardly. I couldn't help but wince.
"LoOoOk aAt YoOu! YOuRe SssSoO HELPLESS!"
It yells as it suddenly leans down, its face inches from mine. Screaming, I stumble to my feet and scramble away. I knew my parents were still out so there's only one person who could possibly help me.
No matter where I ran, it was always one step ahead of me. I needed help, and fast. Calling out the only name who could possibly help.
"BEN!!!"
I yell as I rush upstairs. I knew he wouldn't be in my room so I made my way to the guest bedroom. Although, after calling Ben's name, I didn't see the virus following me. Though I didn't care, it could still be down there.
"BEN!! WHERE ARE YOU!!"
I scream as loud as I can, banging on the guest bedroom door. Grabbing the handle and realising I was open, shoving open the door and running inside.
"BEN-"
He wasn't in there. The bed was completely untouched and nothing was used.
"No... no..!"
Freaking out, I spin around and try to sprint out the room but I smack into something and it instantly grabs hold of me. Screaming in absolute terror and fear for my life, I slash my arms around as much as possible, trying to attack whatever had a hold on me. Though I instantly stop after hearing a familiar voice.
"Woah woah! It's me it's me!"
Leaning back to see the face. Instant tears streamed from my eyes. I couldn't be happier to see the person in front of me. It was Ben.
Without hesitation, I wrap my arms around him and bury my face against his chest, sobbing and crying deeply. His arms hung awkwardly for a few moments until they slowly raised and patted my back. Which soon turned into a smooth calming technique as he held my back and stroked my hair.
"I was so scared Ben! I don't what was happening! I called your name but you weren't in here. Where did you go!?"
I cry as I grip onto his shirt harshly, tugging on it slightly, showing a small sign of agitation behind my worry.
"I was... I was nowhere-"
"You were meant to be my watcher! Where were you!"
I yell as I lean back, staring him dead in the eye. My expression filled with rage, anger, sadness, fear. But most of all, betrayal.
"You were meant.. to watch me..!"
I instantly broke down in tears again, beginning to vigorously pound my fists at his chest in anger. Though I didn't get to hit him much as he grabs my wrists and yanks me forward, forcing me to embrace him again. But I don't argue. I was so overwhelmed with emotions. I just needed the comfort.
"Come on. Let's get you to your room,"
He orders in a calm tone as he begins to walk away from the guest bedroom, my arms still latched around his waist as I stumble along side him.

Once inside my room, sitting on my bed, he carefully helps me onto my mattress, pulling the blanket over me up to my shoulders.
He goes to stand but I instantly reach out and grab the back of his shirt, stopping him.
"Please... please don't leave."
