For The Love of Pomegranates

    If you told me that I was  gonna have dinner with a very Greek mythology looking kind of guy last year, I would have laughed the whole day, but it is happening now and it makes me crazy how fast things are happening.

"Have you told your guy friends that you're going to have dinner with me?" he asked while he was driving, we're on the road for an hour now and I have no idea where we are going.

"Nope, and why would I?"

"Because, I think they are gonna freak out if they find out that you are not in your place." 

"It's okay, besides I can explain it to them tomorrow, or not" 

"Those guys cares for you so much, and your friend? The one who asked me for pomegranates? What is her name again?" he asked and he took a swift glance at me.

"Oh Charm, that is her name" I looked at my phone after answering him, Charms haven't talked to me the whole day, I'm just kind of worried.

"Oh yes, Charm, I'm glad good people are surrounding you. They take care of you" he said.

"Why would you be glad?" I furrowed my eyebrows. I mean, come on, he's still a complete stranger to me so why would he care about that?

"I know it gets lonely when you are always alone, and looking at your condo unit, it shouts I am a strong independent woman, but I get lonely sometimes" he shouted that made me roll my eyes.

"It just takes sometime to get used to it" I shrugged.

"But still. I'm glad. Really glad that some people takes good care of you Eurydice" then I saw him smiled. Oh for the love of cookies, What is wrong with him?

"You know what, with what you are acting right now, I'm having loads of question about you"

"Oooh, That's great, you are finally getting to the point of your life that you want to get to know more about me" I heard him smirked.

"It's not that, it makes me crazy how I can easily trust you, I mean look I let you sleep on my couch, not even thinking that this man might be a thief,then I am letting you to take me somewhere I don't even know where" I huffed out of frustration.

"I think you know why" he looked at me with eyes full of sincerity then he winked at me. 

"Why?" I muttered.

"Well" he clicked his tongue on his cheek.  He furrowed his eyebrows, like he's thinking of a reason.

"See? We both not know what the reason is"  

"Anyway, we're here" he said then he went out of the driver seat, what a nice way to escape my question. I looked at the surroundings and it made want to not come out the car.

"Eurydice, let's go" he called out for me.

"Wait" Why are we here? Just the two of us? 

"I thought you're hungry, Come on" 

"Anthony" I called him

"What?"

"Why are we beside a cliff?!" I shouted, I don't care if I disturb the forest but I am getting scared here.

"This is where we will eat" he answered.

"Really? because it looks like you're going to kill me!" 

"Just get out there, the view is so nice, I am not going to kill you okay?" he said, but I didn't heard what the rest of the sentence says. I breathe deeply. Okay, maybe I'm just being paranoid, I just need to get out here, and if something bad happens, just run.
