For The Love of Pomegranates

       Fresh clean air flowing in my lungs, the sound of the river flowing so fast yet it is  very calming. Yeah two flowing things, oh no, make that three because right now my blood is flowing up to my head, boiling like lava inside of the volcano. Damn, I should be comforted, this experience should be recreational and fun. It should be! But since I am sweating raindrops and my back hurts like hell, I cannot enjoy this.

"You know what? For a 21 year old lady, you move like an 85 year old" Charm said. The girl who forced me to hike with her at 5 am in the morning, even though she's fully aware that I have a hangover after last night, well, forget it. I don't want to remember. So back to this Grinch who stole my chance to rest the whole day.

"Hey! My grandma is already 87 but she still manages to take care of our garden and walk our dogs at the park" I hissed. Fudge, I'm going to kill her.

"Haha, Granny, then I should've brought Nana Lila instead of you, 85 year old. Come on stop giving me those death glares it does not affect me Nathalie. Move!"

Haven't I told you that we're discussing this while I'm climbing a boulder and she's already close to the top. I'm telling you that Grinch has no heart, she won't even help me. I'm a strong independent woman but when my life is on the line I freakin' need some help!

"Nathalie, be a woman. We're already close!" she shouted.

"When this is over, I'm going to execute every plan I am having in my wise brain right now"

"Oh what plan?"

"On how to properly kill a person without anyone noticing that they are gone!"

"Oh that's great, then if you are so smart then you're wise enough to climb up here and finish this hike Nathalie!" I heard her laugh and her footsteps.

"You're seriously going to leave me?!" 

"Experience is the best teacher and as far as I know, my name is not experience. Toodles! See you at the top!" then her evil laugh disturbed the whole forest. Evil witch.

      As I've said I am a strong independent woman, since I moved to the city to study for college, I've been taking care of my self for four years, but I go back to my hometown if I can. Ever since I became independent, this by far is the hardest I've been through. I don 't usually do this, but it just so happens that my roommate Charm is so into this outdoorsy activity. She told me that I needed this after last nights fiasco.

"Charm, I am angry at you right now, but why did you brought me here?"

"Because when you're so stressed, you tend to go to bars or buy some alcohol. You depend so much on that but it does not really help. This" pointing to the view that we see right now. We are now at the top of Mount Manabu. It's a little bit foggy but we can still quite see the view.

"Okay I understand, but please inform me a day before and don't bring me here when I have a hangover." 

"See? That's the difference, when you resort to alcohol, you forget but you get hangover the next day, but this? Pain before the good thing, body pain but you'll get to see a relaxing view"

"Yeah right" I smiled. She's good. She got me there. 

"But i will still kill you" I tapped her back.

"No you won't" she shook her head.

"Yes I will" I squinted my eyes.

"You won't because you love me" she put her arms around my shoulders and ruffled my hair.
