Alexander closed the front door behind, unable to process what just occurred. He came to the hotel to sign the final papers with Andrew, he wanted to leave but got caught up with the other men. He beat himself up mentally at the way she found out his name, now she knew and he had zero control; it sounded worse coming from Andrew. After the scene between them he knew Andrew would be waiting on him, the older man leaned against the railing by the elevator. Alexander approached him slowly, and joined him by the railing mimicking his leaning position, Andrew glanced at his panicked expression,

"Quite a show you put on there" he smirked, and Alexander remained silent. "So you've been fucking my daughter?" Alexander's eyes bolted to Mr. Carter's face.

"What? No, We haven't" Alexander gulped as Mr. Carter glared at him. Alexander always saw him as a prick, but the expression on his face really sent shivers down his spine,

"Well I don't care what's going on, you keep all relations with anyone in this hotel professional" Andrew closed the gap between them coming face to face with Alexander grabbing him by his shirt collar. "and stay away from my daughter" Andrew shoved him back before turning away, making his way back to the office. "Get out of my hotel!" he shouted without looking in his direction.

Alexander did as he said and left the hotel going to his car, he looked at his phone, he felt like calling her but he knew she wouldn't answer. Alexander went home, he didn't feel like being around people, he loosened his tie and untucked his shirt before grabbing a beer from the fridge. He found a new habit; drinking. Drinking any and everything which numbed his emotions. Alex was passed out on the couch when his phone ringing,

"Hello," he grunted,

"Where've you been? Your mother has been calling me all afternoon" Jeremy asked sounding slightly annoyed,

"Tell her I'm fine" he slurred before hanging up letting the phone roll from his hand.

Alexander wished he could do over everything with Anabella, except the part where he fell in love with her personality, her charm and most of all her ability to make him love again. He lost all chances of explaining everything but even if he did how could he look at the woman he loves and say, "I only started seeing you because my father orchestrated a plan to get control of your family's hotel". He couldn't do it, maybe she was right it was time he left her alone and move on with their lives. He had a baby on the way and he should be thinking about making the best impact in that child's life even if he didn't want to be with Destiny. Maybe shes who I'm supposed to be with, he thought looking at the beer bottles which lined the floor.

Alexander was about to call Destiny when Lynn called him, he didn't want to answer but he did either way,

"Hello?"

"Uhhh, what the hell is this I'm hearing about you and Anabella at the hotel?" she questioned aggressively,

"Why don't you ask her?" he gritted out, he wasn't in the mood to be annoyed by the likes of Lynn, she remained silent for a moment,

"I'm asking you" was all she said,

"She knows the truth about me now, I'm Alexander Hunter, CEO of The White Pearl hotel" he heard a tiny gasp escaped her lips, "she found out, I wanted to tell her but I didn't. There really isn't a good way to say it but our relationship was basically fake."

"Look I'm a pregnant woman don't play with my emotions, either you're a damn good liar or a really good actor but the man I saw with my best friend looked like he was in love"

"I do love her, but-t"

"Then good your relationship wasn't fake" she sassed, "You lied about who you were which isn't gonna sit well with her. You got options it's not completely over. You're lucky I like you cause I would say leave her alone, but I know her and I was starting to know you, I know you can fix this if you want to"

"There isn't anything I-"

"Hey! I just told you I'm a pregnant woman! You don't argue with pregnant women!" she interrupted,

"Yea yuh don't" he heard Michael say in the background,

"Shut up! No one asked you" she retorted, "As I was saying don't argue with pregnant women we know all and see all" while she spoke Alexander got a brilliant idea,

"Lynn" he shouted,

"Jesus what is wrong with you? I'm not fucking deaf"

"You're a genius, I know what I gotta do. Where are you? I need your help"

Anabella didn't want to leave the hotel, she had already received several calls from her mother, Lynn, and her grandmother; the core women of her life. She didn't answer any of the calls, she didn't want to do anything but she knew she had to get up and get her shit together, she couldn't sit and pine for him. She was in love with someone who isn't even real. Anabella remembered why she never believed in the whole love thing, it made no sense. Putting your all into someone who you thought would put their all into you also only for it to be all a lie and they don't even care about you. She hated him, she never wanted to see his face again even if he was going to be partly her new boss.
