Chapter Thirty

"Tomorrow we will arrive to Japan, we will then celebrate to our new arrival. But for now, please follow these rules" Tye said rasing a cup in the air

"The rules of our weapons you mean?" Laura asked

"Yes, we made a deal and I hope you will follow"

Maddie softly sighed "of course we will"

"All guns will be thrown over board" Tye said

I didnt want to do that. The gun I had was like my right hand man, always there when I need it. Everyone slowly through the guns overboard, I thought about hiding my gun.

Making sure no one looked I tucked it in the back of my pants, wearing bennetts flannel help hide it. I then quickly took off my holster and through it in the ocean making it look like the gun was with it.

"Now, please all raise your cups" Tye said raising his golden wine glass

We all did as he said as he started a speech

"It is rare we find the good in people, but we still are in search for those in need. But we found the good in this family we have come across weeks ago. You all will become a great part in our society to a better world. To us!"

"To us!" Everyone said and took a spit from their drinks

I didnt take a spit of mine, cranberry juice is not my favorite. I looked over to see Pandora coming over to me.

"I'm glad you joined. You seem like good people" she said sitting down

I dat next to her moving my knees to my chest "I'm glad we join to"

"You remind me of my little sister" Pandora said looking at Abba and Aron goofing off

"How?" I asked

"She was the funniest person I knew, even in a bad situation she could brighten up the mood. She was strong but held back her emotions which later back fired"

"If you dont mind me asking, what happened?"

"What makes you think something happened?" She said looking at me

"You keep using the word 'was'"

Pandora smiled, chuckling softly "smart"

"Not really, I'm pretty dumb"

"Why do you say that?" She took a sip of her drink

"I cant read"

"That doesn't mean anything"

"It does" I said looking down

"Of it makes you feel any better, I cant read either" she said whispering the last part

"Really?" I said looking up at her

"Really. I'm also color blind"

"Like a dog" I said

She chuckled "now you definitely remind me of my sister"

"You didnt tell me what happened?"

"Only if you tell me something about you first" she said

"Fine. What do you want to know?" I asked

"How did you and Bennett meet?" She said getting comfortable

"I once had a old group. My best friend that I knew since birth left me with her family one night. Our camp got over run with the dead and I ran into Bennett" I said

"Must be hard knowing someone important to you left with no explanation" Pandora said softly

"It is but, I soon forgot" I said
