"Hey Malik." I smiled walking up to my boyfriends locker. It was the end of the day and Malik said he was going to drive me home today and I couldn't be more excited. He brought his motorcycle today.
Malik was a senior and we have been dating for about 3 months now. It wasn't unusual for Seniors to go for freshmen, but to date them; yeah.
All his friends greeted me with smiles and I greeted them back. Malik bent down to kiss my lips and I blushed. I mean, we kissed more then 100 times during the 3 months we dated but it always felt as if it was our first time.
"I'll catch you guys later." Malik nodded to his friends.
"Aight Malik. Today is the day." One of them said before walking away. When he said that Malik looked uncomfortable. Very uncomfortable.
"Are you okay Lik-Lik?" I asked when he finally looked down at me.
"I'm fine baby, how was your day?" He asked wrapping his arm around my shoulders.
"It was long, boring. Mr. Fisher was on my case again today. I don't understand why he doesn't like me." I said fixing my bag that crossed over my body.
"Hs always like that to freshmen, he was on my case my freshmen year. A pain in my ass!" He laughed. "You'll get over it tho baby. Summer is almost here and you will be a sophomore anytime."
I pouted and faced him as we were about to exit out the school. "You won't be here with me next year; I-I mean, I-if we-"
"India, it's been a whole three months and you still stutter with me. I told you, you don't ever have to worry about being shy around me. You don't have to be shy around me, okay. Just spit it out." He said grabbing ahold of my hand and squeezing it a bit.
"Do you think we will make it until next year?" I asked him. "I know you will be going off to college soon and stuff but I still wanna try to work it out, you know."
I finally looked up to Malik's handsome face and he was smiling at me, "You wanna still be with me even after I move away?"
I smiled and nodded my head, "Your amazing and even if it hasn't been that long, I really like you and can see us going some where."
"We will talk when we go to where we are going." He smiled pulling me out the school.
"Wait, wait. I'm suppose to go straight home after school. I mean, my parents know that your bringing me home, but I promised them I'll come straight home."
"You think you can break tha promise for once?" He asked giving me a sad face. "I mean, we never spend time together because you and basketball, just this once and I'll never have you skip your parents again."
I looked around a d bit my lower lip; that was something I did often when I was nervous or thinking about something really hard. I looked up to see Malik staring at me, when I went to shake my head he smacked his lips loudly.
"Whatever India, I thought you were mature and not a little girl. Guess I thought wrong, I'll take you home." He said storming off to his bike.
I followed after him feeling really confused. This isn't the first time I skipped my parents. He said the last time that this would be the last time I bumped them and hung out with him. I even got grounded for a week for doing so. So him getting upset because I didn't want to hang out with him today was unbelievable.
"Malik." I called to him, when he ignored me and started up his bike I stomped my feet. That was childish and when I notice what he meant by a little girl I raised my chest and put a scowl on my face. "You know what, forget it. I'm not about to beg you." I said looking him dead in the face. I gave him and look and turned away from him and walked away. "I'll take myself home."
