A Voice Full of Sorrow

A deep breath,

Letting go of the anxiety,

Freeing my mind of fear,

Of uncertainty,

Of the dangers ahead of me.

I've gone numb to what people would consider,

Verbal abuse.

It doesn't phase me anymore,

Lost to the oceans of Forget.

Black puddles of Ink and Dread,

Spread across the ground,

I stand in my safe place,

With a small glance at my surroundings,

I let myself go to the whispers in the dark.

Small voices gaining power in the midst of a wasteland,

The wings of a fallen angel are beginning to lose their feathers,

As they fall to the ground,

Just a person,

Standing here,

In my wasteland,

With an act of pure emotion.

Not two,

Nor three,

But one pure and strong emotion.

Sorrow.

A song full of Sorrow is what she sang.
