Just a face in the crowd..

Yes; That is what she is,

A simple person,

Living a normal life,

Behind normal eyes.

They boy grabbed her hand,

Lead her off the path of the normal kids,

Whispered to her:

Don't tell anyone..

She nodded and he shook his head,

He held out his pinky finger.

She gave him a confused look,

He merely smiled,

I promised myself to you long before we ever met,

Do me the same thing?

She wrapped her pinky around his and smiled

Of course

Just a little girl,

Making little promises,

One's she can break,

Ever so easily,

Carelessly,

Obliviously.

Just a promise,

But to her,

It's not a promise,

It's a future,

And it's one she's willing to fight for.

A little girl,

With little dreams,

Hoping for a beautiful future,

With you.

And to the boy who whispered in her ear,

Telling her he's never leaving.

At least,

He doesn't plan to.

Neither do I,

I swear,

Neither do I.
