Breakfast was awkward for Rick the next morning, trying not to look at Rayna, trying not to look awkward to the rest of the family. Morty sat wondering if that's what he's noticing in Rick but keeps it to a smirk so he won't get yelled at.

Rick finishes first and goes to the garage. Later he returns to find Morty in the backyard learning marksmanship from Rayna.

"What are you two doing, making friendship bracelets ou—" then he sees they're shooting a drawing Morty made of Rick saying the words 'You idiot'.

Morty tries to hide his giggle as Rick storms over and tears the picture up saying, "Alright! Fun's over! We need to go relocate the rest of the data chips."

They exit a portal by a mountain-side with chunks of glowing sponges. As Rick walks towards a particular sponge, Morty accidentally squishes one with his hands and the glowing goo that comes out absorbs into his skin. He starts worrying, "Rick... It—"

Rick had seen it in the corner of his eye and doesn't look over to say, "Don't worry, you'll just shit it out later. I probably should have brought tampons..."

Morty looks around in awe, then points behind Rick with more nervousness than before, "Uh Rick..."

Rick turns around. "Oh shit."

Dozens of uniformed mining Ricks of the Citadel were collecting sponge material just yards away.

Morty jumps when a Rick just behind them calls, "We've got another one!"

"Hey, I found this place first," Rick says. "These are mine, you unoriginal pieces of shit."

The Citadel Rick scoffs, "Yeah you and about 16 other Ricks today."

A second Rick walks up and repeats what he's said 16 times already, "So, look. There's plenty here, we're sharing. Take what you can carry."

"Fuck you, sharing. You're ~UURP~—"

The second Rick seems to get a little self-conscious and politely says, "I—I—I think we got off on the wrong foot, sorry, it's been a long day. My name's GTF-1300579218686," smiling, and Rick, Morty, and Rayna each make a 'yeash' face, "but everybody just calls me 86, because of the two 86's in my name. Not everyone gets to be so unique," smirking from feeling lucky rather than arrogant.

Rick's eyes hurt to roll this hard.

Morty says, "Gosh, I wonder who's Rick A-1?"

86 informs conversationally, "Probably committed suicide, or died as a kid—that's how most of us go. Correctional facilities didn't have low-voltage fences back then. Great way to weed kids out, especially since parents send them to facilities hoping they'll just go away. But—I mean, there is one of us named A-1, but we just call him that because he's from a saucy dimension."

Rick looks disturbed, "Did you just refer to Ricks as an 'us' and 'we'? God! I never thought I could get even more Rick than you idiots. You make me sick."

Rayna crosses her arms and raises an eyebrow, "That doesn't make any sense."

"What are you talking about?"

She speaks casually, knowing she has this one in the bag, "That would assume they're all based off of you, and maybe it seems that way to your god-complex, but, logically, if they all do the same thing, wouldn't that make you the least Rick?" The question was rhetorical. Her smirk now was from seeing him squirm for a moment, knowing he can't deny logic but hated to be wrong or ordinary.

But he quickly regains his confidence, almost smiling, "Now you just sound like them and their god-complex. There's only about a hundred-thousand like them, out of infinity. So... crunch those numbers."
