Rick, Morty, and Rayna continue to watch TV in silence for a while, Morty on Rick's left and Rayna on his right.
When their hangovers wear off, Rick only moves his eyes to watch Rayna reach over him to poke Morty's side a few times as she says, "Hey stranger, you've been awfully quiet, you're so far away." Rick could tell that—though she did show a genuine interest in Morty's reply—half her reason for it was to brush her arm against himself, to test his reaction. Not knowing how to respond, he tries to refrain from his expression changing or from shifting at all, just watching her from the corner of his eye.
"Heh heh..." Morty chuckles. "Well it was a busy night, lots to think about... Rick made a bunch of colored people attack me in weird ways."
"Uh racist much?" Rick jokes, but just to shut Morty up by making him feel more awkward.
Rayna chuckles and asks Morty, "Oh yeah?"
Rick watches her scoot closer to show interest yet intentionally sit touching her leg to his leg. Now he had to clench every muscle he had to force himself not to shift.
As Morty replies about the drugs, Rick moves the arm that was at his side against her to the back of the sofa and pretends to watch TV as he loses himself in thinking of what to do. When Morty finishes, Rick takes the remote in his left hand by Morty, "LLLLLet's see what else is on, anyone?"
Morty and Rayna agree and as Rick changes channels, Rayna sits back and slides into Rick's side as if she would soon rest her head on his shoulder. Rick stops on a channel and lets a long moment pass before stretching his arm from resting on the couch to resting around her, if barely touching her.
He lets another moment pass before saying, "So, uh... It must be a weekday, no one's bothered me for the TV, or to open a jar because Jerry has a manliness deficiency," and tries to keep hold of a tone that didn't sound suspicious when he says, "DDDDDon't you have school today, Morty?"
"Oh," Morty says, disheartened. "Yeah... but... but I'm ok if I skip it, it's been a pretty rough weekend. Wait, since when do you want me to go to school?"
Rick groans on the inside and shifts in his seat but only moves the arm around Rayna to where Morty couldn't see it was there.
Rayna suggests, "Well why don't we hang out a bit more and you can go to the last half of school so you don't get in as much trouble?"
"O... Ok..." Morty agrees.
Rick relaxes, realizing it was a good compromise, but wondering how long he could last.
Then Rayna says, "Hey Morty..."
Morty looks over.
"...........Is Rick ticklish?"
Rick's face becomes as horrified as if she drew a gun.
And when a portal opens in front of the TV, his expression only changes by the rising of his lower eyelids.
An alarm goes off and gun turrets start to come from the walls, "UNAUTHORIZED PORTAL DETECTED. UNAUTH—" but it all goes away when 1-03 presses a button on a remote he had held ready before he stepped out.
Morty says, "Th—That's new," looking where the turrets were. Then he sees President Morty step out too.
1-03 belittles, "You bothered to put detectors in?"
Rick says, "The most likely to kill me are myselves. At least this way I get a running start."
President Morty mutters, "(Ricks are good at running from their problems, especially themself...)"
