Rick points to the single entry on the reality-finder screen. "Alright, look. You wanted to know how to use this thing? That right there is the only other living version of her I've found so far."

Morty sees the one entry on an otherwise blank screen, then it goes blank. The entry disappeared.

Rick yells, "What the fuck!? You're kidding me! Maybe there's still time—" plugging in his portal gun into the machine, then opening a portal and pulling Morty through.

They exit at the bottom of a hill inside the gate of a mansion. Rick points to the light in the window. "There! I bet that's it!" and they start rushing towards it. "Hopefully the finder was still able to get a rough lock on her body signatures as they faded. I was hoping to interrogate an un-erased version of her, but..."

"You mean she just died?!"

"We're about to find out," readying his gun and kicking open a side door to the lit room.

Sure enough she was dead, with blood, wearing a long-sleeve black dress, in the middle of the room, among what looked like the damage of an indoor hurricane.

"Oh, eww, aww jeez," Morty winces.

Then they hear someone run outside from another part of the house and they race over.

Rick sees a guy running and portals to cut him off, but it startles the guy into getting hit by a truck, his body being splattered into just bits 'n' pieces. The driver gets out of his truck labeled Discount Meats, gathers the body parts, and waves to Rick, "Thanks!" then speeds away trying to hit dogs and cats.

"God damn it!" Rick portals back to Morty. "Alright start searching. We're looking for clues: who, what, where, when, ~UURP~ you get the idea. Even: which, as in which nationality. She had different accents that one time, didn't she? Someone obviously killed her and was searching for something." He raises his gun again and points his finger to her body, "I'll look around, you search her body," and he goes to other rooms.

Morty first looks around nervously, wondering why Rick didn't give him a gun, then just stands looking at the body for a moment, a bit squeamish. He begins gently poking it with a broken chair leg, and progresses to using only his thumb and index fingertips to lift up hair and clothes. He had seen a ton of dead bodies before, albeit they were some degree of alien, but he didn't really know how to start and was still a little disturbed by seeing someone he knew dead.

Rick searches through all sorts of things and doesn't slow down when he starts eating the fridge food he looks through. Though no room looked as destroyed as the room her body was in, he sees much of everything in the house had been taken. When he happens across a secret door, he flings it open, "I fucking knew it!" only to stop in the doorway when he sees it's to a dusty, cobwebbed sex dungeon... He didn't know what to feel about it, just that it pissed him off in a hundred ways, so he grumbles and slams the door shut with one flick of his hand.

He goes back to Morty after a while to find him using his finger to poke Rayna's eyeball and look at the other side of it through the blown off section in her head. Rick scolds, "Don't tell me you're minutes away from necrophilia. Have you found anything or have you just been dicking around this whole time?"

"Wh—Wh—Well—What, I've never gotten to mess with a dead body before. We never had time. That's—That's ok to want, like an anatomy class..."

"Jeez, if you're that curious I'll bring you one next Christmas." Then Rick motions to the body, "Meanwhile—!"

"She was shot, in the head, close range I think, I don't know, the blood splatter with your gun could be different. And, there's no gun or note or wallet. What did you find?"
