Tris POV

I walk to my locker and get my bag. Finally I can leave this place! Someone taps my shoulder and I turn around and I see Chris. "Do you want to hang out today?" She asks me. "Sure but only for a little bit because I have a date with Four." I tell her. "Oh my god I'm helping you get ready!" She squeals. "God Chris I would like to keep my eardrums." I rub my ears. "Mar and Shauna are helping to, we'll meet you at your house!" She yells running off to find them. I walk to my car and get in. I put my bag on passenger seat and put the keys in. Right before I'm about to drive away the passenger door flies open and Uriah gets in and screams "DRIVE!" "What the hell?" I yell "I'll explain later just drive!" He says. I pull out off the parking lot and start to drive towards his house. "So what happened?" I ask him "Well I was with Four and we were talking about your date tonight. Then I said he was lucky to get you and you were smocking hot and I would totally tap that." Wait what? "Then he looked like he was about to murder me so I ran and now I'm here." He says. Why would he say that about me? I'm not even pretty and I'm defiantly not hot. "What did you say about me?" I say in a deadly tone. I pull over to the side of the road and stop the car. I look over at him and see he looks scared. Good. He tries to get out of the car but i locked the doors. I slap him then start to drive again. I drop him off at his house then I drive home. I walk in the door and see Mar, Shauna, and Chris sitting on the couch in my living room. "Where were you" Christina asks me. "Well apparently Uriah told Four I was hot and he would tap that Four got mad and Uriah ran to my car I slapped him and drove him home." I say in one breath. Christina and Shauna burst out laughing but Marlene just sits there with her face full of hurt. "I need to call him." She says walking to kitchen. The rest of us just sit there in silence. About ten minutes later Marlene comes out with tears running down her face. "We broke up." She says crying. We don't say anything we just hug her. I feel guilty. I feel very guilty. They broke up because Uriah made some stupid comment about me and I told Marlene. "Tris I know you're thinking that it is your fault we broke up but it isn't. We decided we would be better off friends. Anyways we came here to help you get ready so let's do that."Marlene says wiping away her tears "Okay Shauna pick out her outfit, Mar do her hair and I'll do her makeup!" Christina yells running up the stairs.

**Time Lapse**

Two hours later I'm wearing a studded denim jacket over a pink strapless dress with white heels. Marlene put my hair in loose curls and Christina gave me pin smokey eye. Just as we're heading down the stairs I hear the door bell ring. I opened the door and there stood Four who looked very sexy. His mouth dropped open we he saw me. I wave to the girls and head to his car. As I'm closing the door Christina shouts "Use protection!" Me face turns a colour that would put tomato's to shame. Four just laughs. We get in the car and start to drive. "Where are we going?" I ask excitedly. "It's a surprise." Is all he says. I cross my arms and pout. Four chuckles and grabs my hand. After about twenty minutes we get there. Four gets out and comes to my side and opens the door for me. As I'm climbing out I say "What a gentleman." In a British accent. He chuckles and grabs my hand. When I see where we are I gasp. We're at the chasm. The chasm is a huge dam.the river is about one hundred feet below the ground. They built walls beside the river and there's a bridge over the walls so you can look at the river. We walk to a tree near it and sit down. I just realized that Four had a picnic basket in his other hand. He pulls out some food and we start to eat. "I need to tell you a few things." Four says putting his food down. "Okay" I say. "So you know how I live with my aunt and Uncle?" I nod my head. "It's because my father would beat me. He killed my mom and about a year before you moved here he went to jail." He says sadly. I hug him and allow a few tears to slip out. When I let go he wipes away my tears and asks "Why are you crying?" I sigh "You don't deserve that at all. You're an amazing person." He gives me a small smile. "Also my real name is Tobias Eaton." He tells me. "Thank you for telling me that Four." I say "Don't call me that when we're alone, it's nice to hear my name again he says. I smile. We spend the rest of the night talking, laughing, and kissing.
