"Oh my god- MICHAEL!" Jessica screamed as he was pulled through the window. She grabbed the gun hanging on the wall and took off out the door after him and whatever took him. Instead of following the trail, she hopped across some huge metal pipes to cross a river to try and get to Mike faster. She used the scope of the gun to look down a small cliff edge, only to see him get dragged away.
"Oh no- JESSICA!" He yelled in terror.
Without a second thought, Jess jumped and slid down the cliff side, dodging rocks and roots on the way down. She picked the gun back up once she got to the bottom and kept running, jumping over and ducking under tree limbs the whole time. Once she reached the end of the trail, she slid down into what looked like a mineshaft. "C'mon... let's do this, Jess..." she muttered to herself as she climbed down.
Mike started to scream once again, telling Jess that he was close by. She started to run in the direction of his voice, determined to catch up.  "JESS, HELP ME!" He yelled.
"MIKE HOLD ON!" Jess yelled back as she made her way down the rusted metal stairs and into the mines. When she finally found him, Mike was laying on his back on an old elevator. He had fresh cuts and bruises all over his exposed skin, and could hardly move.
"Oh god... Michael..." Jess cried as she kneeled down next to him. She felt momentarily relieved when she saw him move weakly. "Mike! A-Are you ok?!"
     "...help..." he whimpered.
Jess reached her hand out to try and help him, but the elevator gave way and plummeted downwards, bringing Mike with it.
"MICHAEL!" Jess screamed as she stood up. She looked up quickly after hearing movement above her and saw a dark figure looking down at her. She aimed the gun at its head and fired, but it ran off before the bullet struck it. Not wanting to let it get away, Jess ran up the metal ramp that wrapped around the elevator shaft. Upon reaching a dead end, she climbed up what was left of the elevator shaft to reach a stable ledge.
"Oh shit!" She whisper-yelled when she noticed the figure walking away from her. She held the gun up and aimed, but threw the gun down on the ground when it jammed. "Useless piece of junk..." she muttered.
As the figure kept walking, he jumped down off of an edge and out of site. Not wanting to lose him, Jess started running to keep up again. As she did, a sliding door started to close behind the figure.
"C'mon, gotta make it!" Jess yelled as she slid under the door just before it closed completely. As she sat up, she noticed an old oil lamp nearby. Using the box of matches she found earlier, Jess lit the lamp and brought it with her.
As she continued to follow the figure, she found herself back outside in the wilderness. She kept walking until she noticed a huge building out in the distance. "What the hell is that place?" She asked herself.

Back at the lodge, Ashley woke up with a groan. She put a hand to her forehead where she was punched, only to find that it still stung. When she snapped back into reality, she started to panic. "Chris?!" She called.
After hearing no response, she picked up a flashlight off the kitchen counter and turned it on. As she opened the door to leave the kitchen, she noticed a splatter of blood on the wall. "Oh no... oh no no no no..." she muttered.
As she kept walking through the house, Ashley noticed that the back door was wide open. Seeing it as a sign of where her friend went, she went outside and began to follow the trail, occasionally calling his name again out of hope for a response. After a minute or two, a rigged scarecrow popped up out of nowhere, causing Ashley to shriek. After she realized it was only a dummy, she calmed down a bit. "What the... why would somebody do that?!" She asked no one in particular.
After wandering around pretty aimlessly for a few minutes, she found what she thought was an old tool shed. Upon walking in, she could hear a slightly muffled voice.
"Hello...?" She heard Chris ask helplessly.
"Chris! Where are you? What happened?" Ashley asked as she tried to find him.
"I-I don't know... h-he tied me up, I can't move at all!"
Suddenly, the lights came on, and everyone in the room became painfully aware of what was about to happen. On the other side of the wall that kept Ashley separate, both Chris and Sam were hanging by their hands from a wall. There was a set of tracks leading to either one of them, and a buzz saw on wheels at the other end.
"Ash... are you there?" Chris asked.
"Hello. And thank you all for joining me."
"Oh my god! Sam, Sam wake up!" Chris yelled.
"Tonight, we're gonna conduct a little experiment. A sort of test."
"....huh? What the hell's going on?!" Sam asked frantically. Ashley ran over to the door and attempted to open it and break it down, but it did nothing.
"Now, for this experiment, we'll need the cooperation of our two test subjects... Samantha and Christopher."
"Wait WHAT?!" Chris yelled.
"Oh my god..." Sam cried.
"But, we're gonna need one more brave participant to help decide... which subject will live, and which will die."
By this point, Sam began to panic while Chris had a complete mental breakdown. "OH MY GOD NO PLEASE DON'T!" He wailed. "ASH YOU GOTTA GET US OUT OF HERE!"
"LET US GO YOU PSYCHOPATH!" Sam demanded.
"Please, please everyone calm down... it's all very simple. Ashley, you will find a lever placed directly in front of you. All you have to do... it choose who you will save."
Ashley looked down in front of her and saw the lever that the psycho was talking about. One side had a photo of Sam, and the other had a photo of Chris. The buzz saw on the end of the tracks started to spin and move forward, as if it was some sort of cruel timer.
"Oh god, please no-"
"Shit, don't-"
"This is so fucked up!" Chris yelled, pointing out the obvious.
"N-no, It's okay, it's gonna be okay!" Sam said, as if trying to convince herself rather than the others.
"Oh no oh no oh no..." Ashley mumbled to herself as she stared at the lever in front of her.
"Ashley, hun, just think about this for a second-" Sam started.
"Ash, you can't just let us die like this!" Chris wailed.
"J-just give me a second- I-I can't think straight-" Ashley stuttered. She couldn't possibly imagine her life without either one of her friends... but then again, she wasn't sure how much time they would all have left anymore, considering that they were stuck on a mountain with a crazed killer. After weighing the options, Ashley looked up from the lever with tears starting to spill from her eyes. "Chris, I'll get you out of this, I won't let you die!" She decided.
"Th-thank you..." Chris choked out.
"No... please, no..." Sam whimpered, knowing exactly what she meant by that.
Ashley put one hand on the lever as Chris and Sam both continued to panic in the background. "You can't do this, it's madness! Please tell me it's not real!" Chris yelled up in the direction of the speaker where the voice came from.
"I see... you have chosen to save Christopher."
The track switched so that the saw headed in Sam's direction while all three of them begged for the psycho to end it.
"I thought we were friends, Ashley!" Sam cried. "Why would you do this?!"
"I'm sorry, Sam! I'm so sorry!" She yelled back.
"OH GOD WHAT DID I DO?!" Sam screamed as the saw began to cut into her. Blood splattered all over the floor, walls, and Chris as everyone in the room screamed and cried until Sam's legs fell to the floor and her head drooped down.
     "N-no, don't look Chris, don't look-"
"Why can't I look, Ash, please tell me she's okay, plea-ease!"
The door separating the two swung open and Ashley ran in immediately. She helped Chris get free of the ropes and pulled him away from what was left of Sam. Upon seeing her through the blood on his glasses, Chris only broke down even further.
Despite her significantly shorter height, Ashley tried to wrap her arms around him as a form of comfort. "W-we gotta get out of here..." she said as she led them both out of the shed and into the snow.
"Ashley... Chris?!" They heard Emily yell from somewhere up ahead. Sure enough, both she and Matt ran up to them, both confused on what happened.
"Is that blood, Chris?! What the hell happened?!" Matt asked.
"Are you guys Okay?!" Emily asked.
     "Sam-" Ash started.
     "Sam what, Ash?" Emily interrupted.
     "She's dead-"
     "WHAT?!"
"Died right in front of us!" Ash explained as she started to sob along with Chris. "Th-there's a maniac- a-and there was a saw, and- I-I killed her!"
"Woah woah, slow down. We need to get some help." Matt decided.
"I don't understand- what happened?" Emily repeated.
"I-it was either her or Chris, and I-I didn't know what to do! It w-was all my fault, Em..." Ashley cried. "Sh-she cut right in half... spilled out fucking everywhere!"
"Oh my god, we need to go get help." Matt said.
"Matt, we should get everyone else together-"
"Mike and Jess are off 69ing each other, and who knows where Josh went."
"I-I think he's in the lodge."
Matt sighed. "Okay, fine. Get everyone else together, but if there's s maniac running around, we really need some backup." Matt said.
     "But what about-"
"Why are we still talking about this?! Let's go!" He demanded as he led Em away.
