Chapter 2

Today is Saturday, i went back to bed straight after morning prayer. Planning to stay in bed for the whole day.

While sleeping i heard noise thinking maybe we have guest since Yaya Jafar has return to camp while Yaya Yusrah went to school and mama is probably resting. I decided to check who it was that is disturbing my beauty sleep.

Groaning i get up knowing my plan has gone in vain. "Yaya Saif" I thrilled and hugged him.
"autar mu, just waking up? hope its not our chit chat that wake yhu up" He asked
"well, it doesn't matter since its yhu"
"Ke tashi ba mutane wuri as big as yhu are yhu still jump on him do yhu want break his ribs" Mama scold making me to create a tiny space between us.
"Mama, she's my sister and there is no way she will be able to break my rib"
"Ai yhu are the one spoiling her" she said and left the room"

"how is Yaya Ameerah , did yhu come with her?" I asked about his wife
"No, she's not feeling well and the doctor suggest she rest"
"oh, wishing her quick recovery. Am planning on coming to Abuja after my waec"
"thats good, have yhu thought about the school yhu want to attend"
"No, not yet"
"I have talked to mama and she suggest yhu stay here and attend the same university as Yusrah"
"But Yaya Saif"
"let me finish. if yhu want yhu can attend Base or Nile and stay at my house, i won't mind so as my wife"
"Okay, I'll think about it"

"did yaya Saif break the news to yhu?" Yaya Yusrah asked me as we are making dinner. 
"What news to be precise" I asked making her roll her eyes before saying "I asked yhu first"
copying her i said "I asked second"
"stop copying me Azee" she said frustrated.
Imitating her i said"stop copying me Yaya Yusrah"
She got angry and point at me with the knife in her hand.

"okay okay, sorry no need to be violence" i apologize while she glare at me and continue cutting the veg.

"Aren't yhu going to tell me the news" i asked her

"Aunty Ameerah is pregnant. And yhu my sister we are going to be aunt's"
"Oh Allah alhamdulillah." we start squealing.

"Hope its going to be a boy" i said
"girl Azee, girl. We want girl"
"Okay what if she give birth to twins" i said not wanting to start arguing.
"that will be awesome" she said and we continue our chat.

"ABU, i have been dreaming about that school my whole life" Teemah said
"Am attending MAUTECH " Samie said
I looked at Khadija who didn't say anything.
"what about yhu khady ?" i asked her
"I dont know. I have not thought about it" she replied.
"Let's grab so food am starving" i said standing up and walked to the kitchen.
"Azee, when did come. please don't tell me yhu jump up the fence" Khalid teased me while sitting on the kitchen counter with Sadiq .

"Actually, i flew through the air. Unfortunately for your lack of sight, yhu didn't see me" I replied

serving the food in a large tray that will be enough for us to eat. I open the fridge and pick out some drinks. Khadija walked in and helped me with the drinks while i pick up the tray.

Accidentally Khalid bump into me hard making the tray fall.
"Am so sorry, God. Sorry" he apologize touching the back of his head.
"Its alright but you'll have to clear this mess" i said
"Khalid what have done. what do yhu want us to eat " Khadija yelled at him
"Am sorry girl. it was a mistake" he said frustrated
"its okay"

"where is the food?" Samie asked
"Khalid fr............"
"Come on Khadija its a mistake and he apologize. No need to be mean" i said cutting her off
"Sorry he's just getting into my nerves"
"Now what are we going to eat"Teemah asked
"we'll just starve to death"
"But why dont we cook"
"cause we are lazy"

"Surprise"Khalid said walking in with package of pizza and shawarma.
"Life savior thanks" Samie said grabbing the package and start digging it
"thanks Khalid" we said and join Samie
"What are yhu still waiting for" Khadija asked him
"watching how girls eat like pig" making us glare at him
"Sorry" He walked out

"He's always embarrassing me in front of my friends." Khadija said
"Don't worry we all know how he is. So know need to be embrace"Teemah said
"Yeah,just enjoy the food"

Few days later Khadija drop by at my house. "Amigo, am going to baze"  she said.
"thats great. Am going there too"
"yeah its going to be amazing"
"Yeah"
"Girls want to join me" Yaya Yusrah said adjusting her veil
"Sure. But where?" Khadija asked
"For a walk" she replied
"Alright am in. Let's go". I said

After strolling around the park. We grab ice cream and sat down chatting. Yaya Yusrah decided to share a story about one of her hilarious course mate. Who makes the class more lively but unfortunately he couldn't make it to the next level and have to change course to more simpler than medicine.

"it's getting late. Let's go home before magrib" Yaya Yusrah said.
