Yuichiro floated, incased in the endlessness of the void, so full of nothingness that it was utterly terrifying. It was like he was trapped in a black box.
Cataha showed up, intertwining her bony fingers with Yuichiro's. A hungry look occupied her glowing blue eyes, whilst a wide grin practically split her face. "Are you ready?" She asked the Raven.
"You managed to convince them that I had a mental illness, Cataha. Yet I've always known that you could control me with those demons of yours. I was attracted to Mikaela like a magnet because you wanted me to be, because my demons lusted for him."
Yuichiro continued to speak. "But I never wanted Mikaela. I've always been in love with Yoichi. I knew that right when I chose Yoichi over your son, that you would make me kill myself."
She nodded her head and smiled. "I knew that Mikaela would find you in the future, and I put those demons inside of you so that if you did not love my son back, I could distinguish your existence."
"I know." Yuichiro replied. "I figured everything out just recently. And I could never love the son of Satan. Mikaela will become worse than you are one day and I would rather die than take the place of his lover. I think that I've suffered enough in the life that I had."
"So are you ready then?" Cataha asked in her thick, Russian accent. "For me to devour your soul? Or would you rather me leave you here in the void for eternity like I almost did with Ferid if he wasn't going to love me back?"
And with the next two words, Yuichiro would finally be able to rest. He would finally be able to escape all of his misery. It was a ridiculous although honest statement to say that Yuichiro was relieved to get his soul devoured by satan.
