    Shindo ended up going into another room to talk with Ferid about things which I had not the slightest idea about.

     I was surprised when the blond's face lit up as the word, "Father", rolled off of his tongue in a prideful way when he saw Ferid's feminine mask. (At first I thought they had some kind of daddy kink relationship going on, and I was kinda scarred but then I realized how much of a dominant Shindo is and that it was actually his real father.)

What I didn't understand was why Ferid and Shindo had different last names. Of course, I still didn't know what Shindo's first name was, which made me want to smash his face into a wall (Or smash him in other places, cue the dirty smirk that just graced my lips) until he would plead me to stop and finally tell me. (His face is beautiful ok? You can fight me.)

Why keep your name a secret and use your last name instead? It made me wonder as I watched a machine that you would only find in a Science Exhibit, my eyes mesmerized by the sight of a miniature tornado swirling within it.

This place sure was fancy, the Badlands seemed to have so many cool things that my former civilization wouldn't even consider having. There was an object that Lacus told me was called, "A lava lamp", the way the glops of goo broke off into small spheric, sticky shapes and floated within a purple light made my eyes glitter with amazement.
