She held his hand,
as tightly as possible,
as if to never let it go.
He tried to pull his hand,
as fast as he could,
as if not to let her clutch it.
Their eyes found each other.
Her eyes.
Her eyes, did not let him go.
'When did her eyes,
became his strength and now his weakness?'
He asked himself silently.
His eyes.
His eyes, did not want her to leave his hand ever.
'How come today, those intense eyes,
which always wanted to find her,
did not even bother,
to even glance at her', she wondered.
"It was nothing." , he said firmly.
"It was everything.", she contemplated.
"It never meant anything.", he said quietly, not sure himself.
She was dumbstruck, she didnt believe a word of it.
"I never loved you." , he lied.
Furiously jerking his hand off,
he walked away.
And just then,
She felt someone ripping her heart apart.
He walked away, silently, tears in his eyes.
She wondered how he never noticed,
that it was slowly killing her.
Both remained quiet.
Incomplete without each other, forever.
