Every drop of tear that she shed,
told a different tragic story.
Every breath that she took,
felt more of someone strangling her,
than making her feel alive.
Darkness creeping inside her,
yet feeling his essence lingering on her.
With courage, she turned back,
with no luck, she saw no one, but the world.
Should she complain or let silence say everything?
Should she cry or be courageous the way he wanted her to be?
Should she be someone, whom he loved once or someone whom he feared she would turn into?
With all these questions in her mind,
She closed her eyes.
All memories flooding back in the form of tears.
She saw him.
Saw him for the last time.
She recalled all the memories with him.
It pinched her everytime she thought about him,
that she, could not stay with him anymore.
One last time, she opened her eyes.
She took a step forward,
and felt light, forever.
