Hellooo Wattpad people :)

With around fifteen minutes to spare, I headed over to Ali’s house. I didn’t bother to knock on the door as usual. I walked inside and headed towards her kitchen, hoping to find her there.
I swung around the corner and ran smack in to what felt like a brick wall. “Ah.” I sighed, pulling back.
“Shit, I’m sorry. You alright?” Derrick asked me, holding my elbows and checking to see if there was a mark on my face.
“Yeah yeah. I’m fine.” I said. I tilted my head upward and looked at him. “You have a really hard chest.”
“Thank you.” He said, grinning and flashing me his gorgeous dimples.
I grinned back at him. I mean, it’s hard not to grin back. He has that perfect kind of lopsided smile, which makes him look a million times hotter. Which is incredibly hard, seeing as he was already hot before.
“Why are you two holding each other and grinning like you haven’t seen each other in years?” Ali suddenly asked, appearing out of nowhere. I dropped my smile and Derrick took his hands off of my elbows as we both turned to look at her.
“Alicen, what the hell are you wearing?!” Derrick asked, his eyes wide.
“It’s called a dress. Why?” She replied, looking at him like he was stupid.
“You aren’t wearing that.” He said, folding his arms over his chest.
“Yes I am! You can’t tell me what I can and can’t wear!”
“You. Are. Not. Wearing. That. Go change.”
“Derrick, No. You can’t tell me what to do! And Ericka’s wearing one too!”
He glanced at me, and then turned back towards her. “Alice.” He said, gritting his teeth.
“Derrickkk” She said, drawing out his name. “I can handle myself. I know you don’t like Tyler and Zack, which I understand. But seriously, I’ve worn much worse things than this to a party.” She said, putting on a puppy dog face.
He sighed. “Fine. But you better tell me if anything happens. I’ll beat the shit out of both of them.” He said, his jaw clenched.
“Yay! Thanks, big brother! I love you!” She said, launching herself at him. He smiled and wrapped her in a hug. “I love you too, little sister.” I watched the exchange, holding back an ‘Awww’.
“Ericka, why are you staring at us like that? Do you want in on this?” Derrick asked, smirking at me. I rolled my eyes at him.
“Shit!” Ali suddenly said. “I left my keys and phone upstairs. I’ll be right back.” She said before walking up the stairs.
“What’s with you girls and wearing skimpy dresses everywhere?” Derrick asked once she was up.
“Hey! It’s not skimpy!”
“Yes, it is.”
“Derrick, don’t even try to tell me that you don’t like when girls dress like this. You know when you go out that’s all you look for. So shutup.” I said, glaring at him.
“You’re right. But with you girls that I actually care about, it’s a whole different story.” He said. I opened my mouth to reply and stopped short. Did Derrick just say he cares about me?
“If anything happens with those two assholes tonight, call me. I’ll come get you guys, okay? I really don’t want you guys going, but I can’t stop you.” Derrick said, looking at me intently with his gorgeous eyes.
