After that night, Gusion wrote another letter and cut a piece of the cake Lancelot gave as a gift for his birthday

He securely wrapped it in a box and tied the strings and gave it to Niccolo as he flew away

After half an hour of flying Niccolo reached the familiar window that lead into Lesley's room

He knocked on the glass,

He waited patiently for Lesley to let him in

She opened the window, Niccolo went in

Lesley got the letter from the bag, then got the box

Nicki, who was sleeping, woke up to Niccolo's cooes

Lesley opened the cage and let her out

They nuzzled eachother, Lesley sat down by her desk and read the letter

Dear Lesley,

Yep, today is my birthday. I am now oficially 25

Lancelot gave me a cake as a gift, I couldn't forget about you so I cut you a slice

Thank you for your gift yesterday, It honestly means a lot

Now I'm thinking of something to give you on your birthday like, 2 months from now :v

Btw, what does your exiting line mean?

And please send Nicki out with Niccolo, they could use some bonding time tomorrow

Lesley smiled to herself when she read the first paragraph

'I still hope you remember the promise' She breathed deeply and sighed

When she read the second, she opened the box.

She grabbed a fork from the kitchen and ate while continuing to read

She felt flattered when he thanked her

His question paragraph made her question herself,

'What am I going to say now?'

She wrote a letter back
