It is the intense longing for freedom

Lesley had it ever since she was brought into this world, Life was given to her along with another gift

Can you guess what it was?

They gave her wings, the divine beings from above

She wasn't an official angel, and that's for sure since she had no halo given with them, but that's what her parents used to call her back home

She missed them dearly, but she knew they were truly gone until she joins them

No, she wasn't going to go commit suicide. She just knew one day, she will go and fly away from everything on Earth with a smile

Growing up, she learned how to control them, absorbing her wings then summoning at will if needed

Once she learned how to fly, she made a deal with herself

If she does not have any reason to live, she will go and disappear into the clouds.

The people from the heavens talked to her through dreams, at the age of 18 she had a 'dream' where they told her she would be entitled to someone she was born at the same time with

They told her they were to be the only 'reason' she had

She believed them and they gave her a timer, when it counts down to zero, she will meet that specific person

When she finished her studies independently, she had started her own company

Long story short, It blew up

She became one of the richest self-made people in the world

Her timer ticked down to zero back in college, where she met a certain brunet

Throughout the years, they've been growing closer

But Lesley doesn't know how to admit a part of her fell for him

Here we are, at the office of a certain pinkette on the very top of a 500 ft building overlooking the city

She was doing a ton of paperwork in advance

Lesley was concentrated until the door flew open, disturbing her focus

Lesley looked up to see her fellow colleague, and most trusted best friend

He insisted to join her company when she made it

She smiled and leaned away from the paperwork on her desk, "So, what is it today?"

She couldn't have a day without him barging in, once he even walked to her office to show her a hilarious meme, but she didn't even mind
