[ Lesley's POV ]

February 19

Today, I was walking to a coffee shop rather anxiously

I was going there to meet my new manager and someone else, they didn't exactly specify who

The bell rang as I opened the door, I walked inside and the shut the door behind me

My eyes scan the room as I looked for someone who looked like the person in the picture that was on my phone, then someone tapped my shoulder

I turned around to look at a person who matched the photograph

"Call me AQ, I'm your new manager!"

She said cheerfully as she warmly smiled, probably trying to make me feel welcomed and less tense

She walked to a table and gestured me to follow,

A rather attractive young man was seated at the table, looking out the window and sitting on one of the three sofa chairs

AQ sat down in the chair not connected to the wall, facing inwards. So I sat at the chair across from the unfamiliar brunet

The brunet snapped their attention to us two, then stopped to look at me

I stared back at him curiously,

We were stuck in a staring contest before AQ cleared her throat, making us break eye contact to gaze at her.

She had a teasing grin on as she spoke, "I see you two are getting along well!"

I can sense a blush creeping up my cheeks

"Anyways, this mysterious guy over here is someone you will be doing a certain project with. Now go and introduce yourselves formally"

I looked at the person across from me, he had a smile etched on his face and he reached his hand, offering a handshake,

"You can call me Gusion"

I accept his welcoming offer, "Call me Lesley"

Suddenly, AQ's phone rang.

"No..not now!" She whined before fishing it out her pocket.

"Hey, uh.. Lesley be careful with my brother, he could get a bit playful. Be back soon!", she warned before running away to answer the call

I looked at her retreating figure weirdly before she was out of sight, then turning my head to my new partner

His smile turned into a smirk as he leaned on his palm while still looking at me

"Have any nicknames?", He asked me as I raise a brow

"No", I answered plainly

"Mind if I give you one?", He asked again

I shrugged my shoulders then nodded, "Sure, knock yourself out"

He looked off into the distance before running his hand through his hair. Then he smirked and looked straight at me

"Mind if I call you mine?"

I look at him and blink, I don't exactly know how to react to that
