Kendall's POV
My eyes shot open at the drop of a pin. I stood up on my bed and ran to my closet. I threw on my cheer uniform, and pulled my hair into a ponytail. I placed my giant blue and black bow in the front of my ponytail. I put on my ankle-cut socks, along with my white cheer shoes. I left a note for my mom and fled out of the hotel room.
I ran to Keira's hotel room and opened it with the extra key her mom gave us. I tip toed in, as I saw Keira was still sleeping. I carefully closed the door behind me, making sure it didn't creak. Then, I ran and pounced on Keira's bed as she screamed. I fell to the floor laughing my head off. She shot up and switched on the nightstand lamp. Once she saw it was me, she chucked her pillow at me.
"Kendall!"
"Keira!"
Keira's mom came running out of the bathroom, wrapped in a towel along with one on her head.
"Keira? What in the wor- oh hey there Kendall. Didn't expect you two to be up so early."
"How can we sleep when our huge competition is today?" I sprawled out on the floor. Keira strectched out onto her Magcon pillow and jumped in.
"Today is going to be epic!" she shrieked out during her yawn.
She hopped out of bed and picked me up upside-down. I could've gotten out of her grasp but, I was enjoying my trip to the makeup suitcase. She placed me at the mirror desk on a stool. She ran to her closet and changed into her uniform. I threw Keira her cheer shoes and her socks. She caught them and put them on as fast as a ninja.
I unzipped the suitcase and stared into makeup heaven. Keira flew over and yanked the lipstick before I could get it. My eyes locked sight of the Maybeline Falsies Mascara. I reached forward and brushed it onto my thick, full eye lashes. I put on the black, liquid eyeliner and waited for the lipstick Keira was still putting on. I sumersaulted under her and snatched the lipstick out of her hand, leaving a streak on her left cheek. In site of my victory, I lined my lips with the lucious, red lipstick. Keira was still in shock, trying to get the streak of red off her left cheek. I placed it back in the hand she didn't move yet. I hugged Keira and went back to my hotel room.
When I got back in my mom was in the shower. I sat on my bed and went on Polyvore. I lined out a Pinapple sleeveless boyfriend shirt with demin shorts and white converse. I published it and put my phone and and just waited.
My mom came out from the bathroom and let out a shriek because she didn't expect me to be there. Then, my little sister started crying. Did I mention I had a 8 month old sister? I went in my moms section of the room and took her out from the crib. I rocked her in my arms until she settled and fell asleep in them. I carefully placed her back in the crib and made her "baba", when I passed by the clock and saw it was only 6:30 am. My cheer competition was at 9 am. So, I asked my mom if I could go walk along the boardwalk with Keira for awhile. Our competition was in the Jersey Shore. So she said yes.
I knocked on Keira's door, since they were up and now, "Keira wanna come down to the boardwalk with me? Your Aunt Grace said I could only go if I was with you."
Her eyes lit up, "Ya I just asked your Aunt Tammy if I could go with you."
"Aunt Tammy, Keira and I are going to the boardwalk." I shouted into their room.
Yes, we are so close we call each other's moms our aunts.
I grabbed her arm and dragged her down the hall into the elevator. I pressed L for Lobby. We walked out through the revolving door and found ourselves standing on sandy gravel.
I locked my elbow around hers, "Shall we?" I asked.
She locked hers into mine, "We shall." she laughed.
We skipped all the way the the boardwalk, which was a really long distance. A whooping 2 feet.
