Keira dragged me to all the candy stores around the boardwalk.
"Stop going so fast! I told you my legs are like baby legs, they are short!" I said louder than I should've.
"But Kennn...Look at the gummy bears!"
She knew gummy bears were my weakness. The next thing I knew I had 2 packs of gummy bears in my arms, not letting Aunt Tammy take them away.
I hugged the bags to my chubby face, "But without gummy bears I'll die!"
"You know gummy bears make you even more hyper than you are Kendall, and as for you Keira.."
She tried taking her sweets away. "Nu, nu these are me sweets! Karma!" Keira said grabbing her treats away from her mom as I stood there laughing at her.
Keira nudged my shoulder. I dropped $3.50 on the ground and made a run for it. I heard more money drop behind me. I turned to see Keira running behind me. She stopped infront of me and threw me onto her back.
I swung my gummy bears in circles above me laughing, "You can never defeat team K&K!"
"Ayieee to that!" Keira said laughing.
People were giving us stares as we slowed down enough for them to see what we were wearing. I dusted off my shoulders and thought, 'Gurl, You wish you could be a cheerleader.'
Our uniforms consisted of serveral shades of blue and the rest was white. The skirt was the same materials as the top. The top is a long-sleeved crop top.
Keira let me down and we waited for Aunt Tammy, because you know, she has the money. She caught up to us and took from each of us a sweet.
"Don't cry to me when your stomach hurts guys, I'm doing you the favor."
We toured a little more around the boardwalk. At 8:00 we started back. We walked back to my hotel and grabbed my mom to go to backstage.
Our hair was being raised in our bangs, clipped back into a middle-head ponytail. Our bows were placed infront of our hairties holding our hair up. Tiny blue and black stars were added to the sides of my eyes, while my makeup was being touched up. I saw Keira being done the same thing to. Keira and I were practically twinning, except my uniform had a star on the sleeve to notify I was the captain. We all looked amazing!
I screamed out loud, well I was talking.I have a very loud voice. "ATLANTIC COAST HIGH...ARE YOU READY TO KICK SOME BUTT NUGGETS?"
"YASSSSS"
"I CAN'T HEAR YOU!"
"YASSSSSSSSS! SWERVE KENDALL!"
