Keira snapped at me. I got offended, but I knew she was overwhelmed. By the look of her face I knew she wasn't going to enjoy the next 6 weeks.

______________

I hopped out of my normal bed, and ran down to my sister's room. I picked her up, as she giggled in my arms. I shused her and bought her outside on the balcony. My back eased into a hammock, with her laying on my chest. It was 6 o' clock on a Saturday morning and I couldn't help but notice the apartment was so quiet today.

I texted Keira to wobble up to my apartment, she lives a floor beneath me. She made it in ten minutes, with Jordan fast alseep on my chest. I was still in my night gown and Keira wobbled up with her older brother. We were all in our pajamas still, so I guess it was fine.

"Hey Ryan." I said as he look at me.

"Hey Kendall." He said reaching for Jordan.

I allowed it, we thought of each other as brother and sister.

"Kendall, why at 6 in the morning?" Keira said half asleep.

"Oh come on," I slapped her shoulder a little, "You wouldn't want to miss the city like this. The sun is still rising, there's barely any cars, and come on, we live in NYC, you should be used to getting up this early."

"Tushay." she agreed.

We took the bus to Times Square, considering it only took about 5 to get from 6th Avenue to Times Square. Since Keira couldn't walk, and my sister in my arms, we had to take the bus, the same bus that's smelly, and I got lost on when I was 4 years old.

We walked the short distance into Aéropostale. I bought Keira a shirt, as she looked sadly at the cheer bows. I bought her and myself a zebra print cheer bow, giving into her puppy dog face. With my blue eyes always being sensitive in the sun, and Aéro having a sale on sunglasses, I had to buy myself a pair. Pink sunglasses, may I just say, "Bargain."

I stopped into Gap on the way home, buying Jordan a cute outfit that consisted of, a pink tutu dress, along with flowered pink sandals. I'm pretty Keira was annoyed for me stopping at Gap.

We got back to our apartment, as Norman, the doorman, greeted us, opening one of the two doors. We walked into the elevator, as I pressed the number 16, then 17. We stopped at Keira's apartment first. I watched her hobble away, keeping my giggles in. The elevator doors closed bringing Jordan and I to our floor number.

Someone stopped me along the way, "Hello, Kendall." it was Gillian, a teen living next to my apartment.

"Hey Gillian." I said.

"Do you mind watching Lilian tomorrow morning?" I nodded my head, just remembering so had a two year old daughter. She was preggo at the age of 16, then when school let out for her, she moved away from her home.

"Oh and Kendall?" She stopped me again.

"Yes?"

"Congratulations on winning first place."

"Thank you!" I said putting on a smile.

I walked to my apartment door, 17c. I unlocked it, Jordan getting fussy in my arms. "Mom, I'm ho-" I stopped short seeing her with another man on the couch.

I put Jordan down, gently on the carpeted area and ran to my room,  tears pouring down my face.
