Matt's flashback

*****

So far the highlight of my night was meeting her. Her. I don't even know her name or who she is.

Her purple dress swayed when she moved, her eyes sparkle whenever I look into them.

We decided to just take a walk outside. The scenery of the school garden was beautiful not to mention the weather was nice.

The night filled with stars. The water in the pond showed the reflection in the moonlight. The mood was perfect.

"So are you going to tell me who you really are?" I asked her.

She looked up at me. I was instantly lost in in her hazel eyes. I had a weird feeling that she looked familiar.

"Why not?" I asked.

"It's more fun to guess." She replied. A smirk on her lips.

"This girl got confidence." I thought to myself.

"Okay sure how bout a game of twenty questions?" I offered.

She looked at me unsure.

"How about ten?" She said.

I nodded. "First question are you in the senior class like me?" I said.

"Yes."

" You have no idea how much I wanted that answer to be yes." I thought to myself at least I can have a 25% chance of finding this girl at school.

We were walking towards some beautiful roses. I pick one of them up and gave it to her. She giggled at my romantic gesture but took it gratefully.

Her laugh was beautiful. I smiled down at her. An idea came up to my mind.

"Would it be okay if I took off my mask?" I asked her.

She shrugged. I removed the mask from my face and she gasps. It was like she was completely shocked of who I am.

"Matt?" She asked me.

"That's me." I said to her. "So you know who I am?"

She nodded which was a good sign for me.

"Have I seen you around before?" I asked her.

She smiled at me. "Plenty." She said.

We stopped by the fountain. The golden lights illuminated her hazel eyes. I was enhanced by her beauty. I tapped my chin trying to think of more questions to ask her.

"Okay if you had to choose between sports or shopping what would you choose?" I asked her.

"Sports. Especially softball. " She said smiling down at the ground. "What does that question have to do with finding out who I am?" She asked.

"I like a girl who's competitive and likes to play around." I said truthfully. "Not to mention you got rid of half of the girls in our senior class."

"You set me up." She said jokingly and giggled. She sat down on one of the benches and I followed her. She was fiddling with her fingers. The rose on her lap.

"Would you be okay if I ask to hold your hand?" I asked her.

She looked up from her lap to me.

"Yes." She said.

I took her hand again and gently stroked her wrist with my thumb. I lifted it up and gently kissed the top of her hand. I looked up seeing her smile at me. It was silent for a while but I didn't mind.

"Hey look a shooting star." She said. I look up to see one pass over our heads.

"Quickly make a wish." She said. She closed her eyes and smiled as she wished. I did the same. My hand still on hers. We opened our eyes around the same time.

"What you wish for?" I asked.

"But then it wouldn't come true." She told me. I laughed.

"You really believe that?" I asked her. She shook her head no and giggled.

"I wish for this moment to never end." She whispered.

I smiled at her. This girl was literally perfection. "I wished for the same thing." I said to her.

She rested her head in my shoulder and we just continued to watch the night sky. She was humming something. A beautiful melody. Suddenly soft music from violins started to play. We turned around to see a small orchestra playing for us. She smiled. We got up and decided to walk a little more. The soft music playing in the background.

"Are you out of questions?" She asked me.

I stood in front of her and took both her hands.

"Would you mind if I kissed you right now?" I asked her.

She blushed and smiled. "I wouldn't mind."

I cupped both her cheeks. Both of us leaning in. My lips brushed against hers. The kiss felt compassionate, love all those words that you can think of. I felt a small spark when we did kiss though. I bet she felt the same way. Once we pulled away we were breathless.

"Wow." She whispered smiling. I smiled with her.

"That was my first kiss." She confessed. I was still smiling along with her. I caress my thumb over her cheek.

"I'm honored to be your first kiss." I told her causing her to blush slightly.

We pulled away and continued to walk onto a bridge hand in hand.

"You still have one more question." She told me.

I looked at her my eyes meeting hers. "Would I ever see you again?"

"Only if you want to." She replied. I was about to lift her mask to see who this girl was when I heard a ringtone go off.

"Oh no not now." She said as she grabbed her phone coming from her dress pocket.

"You have a curfew or something?" I asked her confused.

"Something like that." She replied. "I had an amazing time but I really have to go." She said as she was running away.

"Where are you going?" I shouted.

"I'm gotta go." She yelled back and walked back into the building. I ran in trying to follow her.

She walked up to two other girls and dragged them away from who it seems to be Cameron and Nash.

They ran up the stairs. I still following them. Something fell down as they left the building. It was mystery girl's silver locket.

From the back it read: I'll never stop loving you! I picked it up and placed it in my pocket.

I walked back to Cam and Nash and tried having a good time for the rest of the night but I can't stop thinking about her. I realized I couldn't take my eyes off her the entire night.
