Emily's Point of View

******

It was 3:30 p.m and the six of us were just hanging in the living room watching Twilight: Eclipse.

Of course us girls were all mesmerized by shirtless Jacob but the guys could care any less. Nash and Cristal sat on the floor, their backs against the couch and Nash's arm around her shoulder and Cristal snuggled close to him.

Matt sat on one of the white couches and I on his right and Cameron on the left. Alyssa sat at the foot of the left side of the couch next to Cameron.

"Oh shit." Alyssa said looking at the time in her white iPhone. She ran up and slipped on her converse really quick. Nash paused the movie.

"What's wrong?" Cameron said getting up from the couch.

"I'm late for work." Alyssa said fixing her hair into a quick messy bun.

They all just shrugged but Matt was confused.

"Work?" Matt asked.

"She works as a salesgirl at the mall." Nash said.

"Specifically, at Hollister." Cristal continued.

"Do you need a ride?" Cameron asked Alyssa. She smiled and nodded gratefully.

Cam grabbed his keys from his pockets and slipped on his maroon vans.

"Wait Alyssa Cam." Cristal said before they left.

"Yeah?" Cam asked Alyssa's duffle bag in his hand.

"Are you guys still coming tonight?" Cristal asked.

"What time again?" Alyssa asked from the doorway.

"7:30" Cristal said.

"Yeah we'll be there." Cam said before dragging Alyssa by the wrist and slamming the door behind them.

It was silent for a couple of minutes until Cristal spoke up.

"So I got to help set up tonight. Matt Emily you guys are coming right?" Cristal asks standing up from the ground.

"To what?" Matt asked confused again.

"There's a party at my house tonight at 7:30." Cristal replied.

"Sure I'll be there." Matt said.

"Emy are you going?" Nash asked grabbing Cristal's duffle from the floor.

"Yeah I'll go." I replied

"Cool see you guys later." Cristal said before her and Nash left.

It was awkward for me and Matt.

1. We were left alone again.

2. He kept looking at me debating to tell me something which gives me anxiety.

"So um would it be okay if I show you something?" Matt said. I nodded. He pulled out a silver chain out of his pocket. I realized it was my locket. I gasped. Big mistake.

"What?" He asked confused.

"Nothing its beautiful." I said pointing to the locket in his hand. He kept playing with it. He turned it around and looked at the writing.

"I'll never stop loving you." I read.

"Yeah um can I talk to you about something personal?." He asked me. I was gazing deep in his eyes and he was gazing down at mine. Our face a couple inches from each other.

"Uh yeah?" I said. Matt handed me the locket in my hand.

"Yesterday, I met this girl." Matt started. "It was probably one of the best nights of my life."
