Emily's Point of View
Lunch time, Cafeteria
******
Cristal, Alyssa, and I entered the lunchroom. There was a line ahead of us and we all got in. That's when I realized something. The line was all filled with girls.
"Umm Cristal, Lyss." I said.
They turned their heads with confusion.
"Why are there only girls in line for lunch?" Cristal asked.
"This isn't the lunch line." Someone said. We turned around and saw Nash.
"Hey babe." Nash said kissing Cristal's cheek. "By the way We knew you guys would show up late so we ordered pizza." Nash said.
We followed him to a table INSIDE the cafeteria.
"I'm guessing all these girls are in line claiming their Cinderella?" I asked.
"Yup so far we had 6 girls crying." Nash said with his arm around Cristal. "Let's just say it was out of disappointment."
We finally found the rest of our friends. Everyone was sitting in the seats digging on their pizza besides Cam and Matt. They were both sitting on the table with notepads in their hands crossing out girls names knowing that they have been asked before.
"Ooo food." Alyssa said and grabbed a pizza herself. Cam just chuckled at her which caused him a slap upside the head.
"That hurt Sterling." Cameron said pouting.
"Like I care Dallas." Alyssa said with venom in her voice. By the way she's acting, I'm guessing she's just disappointed that Cam hasn't made an effort to try to talk to find his Cinderella.
I looked at her mouthing "You okay." She just nodded and went back to eating. Brushing off this whole Cinderella thing aside.
I sat on top of the table next to Matt.
"Any luck yet?" I asked him. He turned to me with a small frown.
"No I even showed Cameron the locket but he says he has know clue who it belongs to." Matt said. I sighed in relief knowing Cam doesn't pay attention to the small details of us unlike Nash.
"You'll find her someday." I mumbled the someday part.
"Next." Cam kept calling out dismissing the girls so Matt can take a break.
I went back to eating my pizza slice. I didn't really have an appetite anymore. I felt guilty knowing that Matt has taken it way to far to find me.
Cristal and Nash took a small glance at me with reassuring smiles. I just gave then a small smile and continued watching Matt interview the line of girls.
The more this went on the more I wanted to puke. Each girl was the same as the last. Their answers "Ummm I don't know. Can you give me a hint?" Or something even more disappointing then the last. Lunch was almost over and it looked like Matt had a enough.
"Alright ladies sorry but we'll have to continue tomorrow." Nash said dismissing all the girls.
Finally the lunch room started to settle down. Taylor, Grace, Emma and Jack left to go to class early leaving Nash, Cam, Matt and us.
"You okay." I asked Matt. He just nodded and finished his food.
All this school drama is so overwhelming. I wonder how long this could keep up cause I can't hide my feelings for him anymore.
