Matt's POV:
I woke up to the sound of the hustle and bustle that is New York City.
I felt a cool breeze wash over my face as a looked out at the city.
I went to the kitchen to find our maid making fluffy waffles with fruit and syrup draped on top.
"Good Morning." I smiled at the petite older woman. Her long gray hair reached to her waist. She wore round glasses and a black dress and white apron.
"Morning Matthew." Elle replied. She's worked for us for years. She hugged me. "I made you your favorite." She placed the plate in my hands and walked me to the dinning table. "Thanks Elle." I kissed her cheek and she went back to the kitchen. She was always there to help me with whatever I needed. When I was being bullied at school I went straight to her and she always knew what to say. Sad to say, but she was more of a mother than my biological mom. It was always business over family.
I finished my breakfast. I went to take a shower and get dressed. My parents were out. So I was alone, the usual. I decided to take a drive in my city.
It felt nice. the wind in my hair. Seeing places where I used to hang out. I visited some people as well.
Alice's POV:
I woke up late for school again. It was 12:30.
"Great." I jumped out of my bed and got ready.
I put on some black skinnies a white rolling stones oversized tee and a distressed black leather jacket. I put my hair up space buns and only put on eyeliner, mascara and red lipstick. I walked out of my apartment as I zipped up my boots.
I arrived 15 minutes before lunch was over. I spotted Karina.
I walked over to her table and sat. She faced down and didn't look up at me.
"Hey." I said. She just nodded. "Oh no. What's wrong?" She shook her head. "Karina please." She looked up at me. I hugged her. She began to cry. "I'm pregnant." My heart broke. "Does Joe know?" She shook her head unable to speak. "How far in?" "I don't know." Her voiced cracked. "If I know Joseph, he'll support you."
After lunch we ditched school. We went to the park and talked. She seemed pretty happy about it. We made jokes and talked about how much of a crazy mom she'd be. I walked her home then went back to my place.
I felt so worried. Karina has a good head on her shoulders and I know she'll do the right thing but, I don't know if she can handle the stress. I hope Joe will be by her side more than he is already.
*Phone rings*
"What do you want?" I answered.
"I know your mad at me for not telling you, I'm sorry. My parents are not even trying to spend time with me so I'm getting am early flight home." Matt spoke.
"When are you coming then?" I rolled my eyes.
"A day earlier. So Saturday."
"Ugh I have to spend two days with the preggos."
"What!? She's pregnant? What did Joe say?"
"He doesn't know, but you would've earlier if you hadn't left."
"Ha okay well gotta go. I'm tired."
"Well goodnight butthead. I guess I should rest too."
"Bye."
"bye." I clicked.
I miss him.
