Nanbaka One Shots

Enki x Assassin! Reader

     "Do we all understand the plan?" Everyone nods at your question. You make a signal and everyone splits off in different directions to find the one and only, Enki Gokuu. You quickly hop up on a building and run swiftly across the rooftop.

     That's when you see it, a flash of that unmistakable hair. You smile as you stalk up to the terrifying figure of Enki. That's when you realize he's only sitting down, and he is still taller then a lot of people. Then, in one swift motion Enki is standing, towering over you. His eyes looked like they could see right into your soul... Those hypnotic ey... You shake the thought out of your head.

     "What do we have here, they've sent a little girl to kill me." He snickers. You straighten up and shake.

     "Enki Gokuu, I am here to take you back to Nanba Prison. Go without fighting or suffer the consequences." You point a sword at him. He snickers and you drop your sword to your side and sigh. "Are you going to come or am I going to have to make you?" He looks at you with his brows furrowed.

     "You sound so, annoyed?" You look at him, "And? Sometimes I don't want to do my job." You sit down and put your chin on your hand. You hear Enki come sit down next to you. You look over at him and look back out at the city's skyline, filled with the setting sun. "Sometimes I wish I was a photographer, traveling the world." You look at Enki smiling. "How about you?"

     "Sometimes I wish I was with my little brother." You smile and lean on his side.

      You talk for a while about where you would photograph and what you would photograph. You tell him you would meet new people and see new things you could never see with this job.

     "Then leave." He stands up and stretches. "I'll see you around then." He pats you on the forehead. He then starts jumping from building to building. You stand and look at the sky. Then, you find yourself running after him, running into the unknown.
