Enki X Shy! Reader

You open up the door to the underground cells. Your hands shaking with the tray of food that you have to give Enki because Samon is sick and Inori refuses to do it. You take a step forward and jump at the sound of your own footsteps echoing down the dark halls. You breathe out and begin walking towards the cell.

When you make you stop and get rid of all the fear showing on your face. You knock on the cell door and hear nothing. You look down at the map of the underground that tells you what cell he's in.

"Is this the right cell?" You look at the map.

"Almost, I'm behind you." You yelp and jump at the unexpected voice. You turn around and see his shadow in the cell right behind you.

"You sure are a jumpy one." Enki says and you blush.

"I-I, brought your f-food." You slide it in and hear chains rattling. You watch as he stands up and walks forward. Enki completely towers over you, scaring you even though he's inside his cell.

"You smell like my brother." You shy away from the cell and blush again. "Shy too, what interesting traits in a guard." You put your back against the opposite cell and slide down, getting your first good look at Enki. When you look into his eyes you see a softness there, and then they meet yours.

You look down at your feet, your face becoming hot. He saw me looking, oh no, but his eyes are so, dazzling. Your thought falter, wait no no no, I don't actually like him, do I? You look up and see he's looking at you, you feel your face becoming even hotter.

"My my, your blushing." You stammer, "N-No, it's just... H-hot!!! Down here." You see him smirk and cross your arms. Finding the very little confidence you could you speak, "Well, I have to go to check on the inmates."

"Wow, mustering up all your confidence." You stop eyes wide, he saw right through you. "Well, I'll see you for lunch then." You look back at him, and you nod. You turn back and walk to the stairs. Once you shut the doors you put your hands on your face. I like an Inmate!!!!
